Welcome back, SD 73 students. We’re so excited for another year of hands-on school field trips at the CFC. Each month, a class joins us for an action-packed day of learning through four interactive food skills stations. Students get to learn, explore, create, and build confidence around food, while discovering the importance of food skills, food security, volunteering, and community.

Over the past month, we’ve been connecting with people who access programs and services at the CFC. Gathering feedback, hearing stories, and listening to ideas and suggestions about what matters most to our community. These conversations help us understand what’s working, where there are opportunities to grow, and how we can make sure our programs continue to be responsive to the people we serve.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to participate, share your experiences, and lend your voice. Your feedback matters, and we’re grateful for the trust you place in us.

The information and stories gathered will help inform our 2026 Impact Statement and guide our work moving forward. by @mountpaulcfc

Community is at its best when we show up for one another.
Yesterday was one of those days that reminds us just how special our community is. A huge thank you to the amazing local Chelsea Mann Realtors who put their hands up, rolled up their sleeves, and pitched in to help deliver our community meal.
Volunteers are what make community programs like this possible. We’re so grateful for the people who continue to step forward, lend a hand, and make a difference; one meal, one conversation, and one act of kindness at a time.

Thank you for showing up for our community. We’re better together. @chelseamannrealtor by @mountpaulcfc

If you’ve visited the Learning Garden this season, you may have noticed some accessibility changes taking shape. After a long season of renovations, we’re excited to share that the back accessibility ramp is finally complete. We’re thrilled with this project and the important final touches it adds toward creating a more accessible and welcoming space for everyone.

With the back access point now complete, we’re turning our attention to the front entrance, where additional accessibility improvements are coming soon.
If you notice a concern or have suggestions about accessibility, please don’t hesitate to speak with a staff member. Your feedback helps us continue making the space better for everyone. by @mountpaulcfc

Happy National Seniors Day. Today, we’re excited to celebrate the incredible seniors who are part of the CFC.We’re grateful for the many ways seniors contribute to our community; through their stories, wisdom, kindness, friendships, and the connections they build with others. The centre is richer because of the people who walk through our doors and make this space their own.

Thank you for being part of our community, for sharing your time and experiences, and for helping make the CFC a place where people come together, feel welcome, and belong. by @mountpaulcfc

As we mark National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we take time to listen, learn, and reflect on the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools and colonialism on First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

At the Mount Paul Community Food Centre, we believe community begins with connection, respect, and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome and valued. Reconciliation calls on all of us to continue learning, to listen to Indigenous voices and knowledge, and to reflect on how we can contribute to meaningful change. May we carry this learning beyond today; into how we gather, how we build relationships, and how we work together to create a more just and inclusive community.
