40 Under 40. @astatraveladvisors Travel Advisor of the Year. & officially a Moustache Classic Hall of Famer.

I’ve been honored with some incredible awards this year, but being inducted into the Moustache Classic Hall of Fame last weekend is truly one of the highlights of my year.

Seven years ago, a few beer league hockey players got together and said, “Wouldn’t it be cool if we did a game to raise money for the Movember Foundation?” Eric had just lost his brother to suicide, we’d both lost people to cancer too young & he immediately said yes to playing. The fundraising goal that first year was just $500.

Since then, this community has raised over $200,000 for men’s mental health, suicide prevention, and cancer research. Really let that sink in for a minute.

$200,000. 🤯

This trip has become one of the most important traditions in our lives. The Moustache Classic family is so close to our hearts, and seeing everyone on the ice playing, laughing, having an absolute blast, all while raising money for such an important cause fills me with so much joy. Look at the joy on Eric’s face! Hockey helps save lives.

This year, despite the government shutdown and so many families facing wage insecurity, Eric and I have still been able to fundraise almost $2,200 & we are so deeply grateful for it.

And the icing on the cake? This was Eric’s first year back from deployment & he got to lift the cup when team Iceland won the championship! 🧊🏆

If you feel called to support the Movember Foundation,
donations are open through the end of the month & the link is in my bio. 💜

Some shots of the Mario Brothers at the @moustacheclassic last weekend. Team Italy may have been in the stands for the championship but at least I claimed the victory for the best moustache of the classic. Photos by @ajforrisi and @chris_eadevito Although the classic is over, please follow the link above to help donate to our cause in support of @movember So far we are once again the leaders of the hockey fights cancer challenge but have not yet secured our victory. Every dollar helps so join us in support of a great charity this season. by @moustacheclassic

Ending the long weekend and on the way back home from the east coast and the @moustacheclassic incredibly humbled and tired, but proud of what this group of beer league hockey players accomplish every year. I’m stoked to have won the cup for the 4th time this year but more importantly, we’ve raised over $20k as a group for the @movember foundation. I’ll post more about this amazing weekend and some@other awesome stuff that happened but for now, a flight home and some well deserved rest and then back to work. Love all of you and thank you for all the support.

Happy Veterans Day to all my brothers and sisters in arms!
