Step into an evening of artistry, rhythm, and celebration as Movement Arts Cape Cod presents Masquerade of Movement, a festive night supporting our nonprofit community of movers and makers. Join us on Saturday, October 24, 6–8 PM at Hyannis Arts Hall for live music by Outermost Bateria, dynamic performances from MACC artists, and a spirited costume contest with a prize for the most creative look.

Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, MACC merchandise, and a vibrant mix of dance, movement, and music that showcases the heart of Cape Cod’s movement arts community. Tickets are $25 in advance, and $30 at the door.

Come masked, come bold, come ready to move, and help support the arts that keep our community dancing.

Breath and Sound is so so grateful to have the opportunity to collaborate with @movementarts.capecod It has been a true joy to bring movement and meditation practices to @lathamcenters

There is an old Portuguese prayer that says: “_And what do you want the next year to bring you? Nothing, I don't want it to bring me anything. The only thing I want is that it doesn't take anything away. That it doesn't take the roof that protects me, the plate that feeds me, the blanket that warms me, the light that illuminates me, the smiles of my loved ones, health as a treasure, work as sustenance, friendship, companionship, hugs and kisses. May it not take away dreams, nor the pieces of hearts, formed by people, that I carry within me_.”

May we all have a wonderful CHRISTMAS and may the words of this beautiful Portuguese prayer write our lives in the NEW YEAR. by @movementarts.capecod
