30 years ago, @johanmuseeuw became World Champion 🌈

To celebrate the Lion of Flanders 🦁, we opened the Move to Cure archives and looked back at a remarkable chapter in his career and in our history.

April 1998. A devastating crash at Paris-Roubaix. A broken kneecap, serious complications and a career suddenly in serious doubt…

What followed was a long and demanding rehabilitation under the guidance of @lieven_maesschalck . Months of rebuilding, step by step, even together on a tandem. 🚲

Johan returned to Paris-Roubaix. He crossed the finish line alone, claimed the victory and pointed to the knee that had nearly ended his career.

From a career-threatening injury back to the very top!

A comeback that captures what Move to Cure has always stood for: every injury is an opportunity. Not just to recover, but to come back stronger and go beyond.

That same philosophy is still at the heart of MTC today.

MOVE TO CURE CYCLO 2026 🚴

A ride to remember. One incredible day, united by one great cause. 🩵

From 45 to 125 km, riders of all levels came together to move, challenge themselves and make every kilometre count.
All in support of @janvertonghenfoundation and its Infuuts project, giving children in hospital the freedom to cycle, move and simply be kids again during their treatment.

A huge thank you to everyone who rode, cheered and made it happen, and to our amazing sponsors and partners who made this day possible.

Every ride counts. Every kilometre makes a difference.

[MOVE TO CURE CYCLO 2026]

Last Sunday, Antwerp came alive on two wheels for the 2026 edition of Move To Cure Cyclo.

From 45 to 125 km, cyclists of all levels came together for a day built around movement, performance, connection and, above all, making an impact beyond the ride.

This year, the event supported the @Janvertonghenfoundation, which creates opportunities for children in vulnerable situations to move, play and simply be children again. Through the Infuuts project, the Foundation brings movement and moments of joy into hospitals, even during challenging medical treatments.

A huge thank you to every cyclist who showed up and put the (s)miles in, and an even bigger thank you to all partners who helped bring this edition to life.

We ride together. We move forward. And we turn every kilometre into impact.

A few months ago, it was one day at a time ⏳ Today, Kevin is heading to the World Cup with the @belgianreddevils 🔥

Months of hard work. Field training. Rehab. Recovery. Repeat.
A true team effort, with our entire MTC team working towards one goal 🤝

But above all, it takes an exceptional athlete. An athlete with the mindset, discipline and determination to do whatever it takes to get back where he belongs @kevindebruyne 👊

This is what we do it for. Moments like these. Proud of the journey. Proud of the comeback.

Not many people see this part.
The rehab. The setbacks. The work behind the comeback.

After battling a hernia, @tiesj is back on the bike - rebuilding day by day, session by session. 🚴‍♂️

And together with both our teams and entourage, he proves that a hernia does not have to stop the story! 👊 @decathloncmacgmteam

No shortcuts. Just hard work (while somehow still making jokes during rehab 😂)

Very proud to be part of the journey already!💪

Over the past days, we had the pleasure of welcoming members of the medical staff of @realmadrid at Move To Cure.

Two days of real exchange - sharing how we work, how we think, how we implement technology, and how we approach rehabilitation, performance and return to play.

When two like-minded teams come together, it becomes something more. You challenge each other, question details, refine the process and leave better than you came. By combining our experiences, new perspectives emerge and standards are elevated.

And this is what it’s all about: true passion and one clear objective - to heal the athlete, prevent injuries and enable them to perform at their best. That’s what drives us both - an uncompromising pursuit of excellence, with the player at the centre of everything.

Moments like this are rare, especially in a high-demanding world at this level. Being able to collaborate makes it truly exceptional. And this is only the beginning.
