[MOVE TO CURE CYCLO 2026] Last Sunday, Antwerp came alive on two wheels for the 2026 edition of Move To Cure Cyclo. From 45 to 125 km, cyclists of all levels came together for a day built around movement, performance, connection and, above all, making an impact beyond the ride. This year, the event supported the @Janvertonghenfoundation, which creates opportunities for children in vulnerable situations to move, play and simply be children again. Through the Infuuts project, the Foundation brings movement and moments of joy into hospitals, even during challenging medical treatments. A huge thank you to every cyclist who showed up and put the (s)miles in, and an even bigger thank you to all partners who helped bring this edition to life. We ride together. We move forward. As you all know, this season hasn’t gone the way I planned or hoped. It’s been more of a journey from one injury or setback to another. What started in March with COVID, before I had even raced my first race, was followed by problems with my back and hip flexors. This resulted in a month and a half of rehabilitation at Move to Cure. After taking some time to reset, I headed to altitude camp full of motivation, only to get sick after four days and have to return home. After two weeks of rest, I had some new perspectives and started training again. Two days later, I ended up in the emergency room with an extremely high heart rate. Once again, training had to stop. After a lot of tests and wearing a heart monitor for four days, thankfully everything turned out to be okay. So I can officially confirm that I do have a heart and not a stone. 😂 Life can be shit sometimes, but we make the best of it. Thanks to my family & my crazy friends and cousins for bieng helping me trough all of it ❤️ This winter, I’ll be back doing what I love most: CX 💨 See you there. Some things just come full circle. 👇 As a kid I pulled on the JAKO brand for the first time on the football pitch. Then it followed me onto the tennis court. Today it’s with me on the padel court, in the gym, and everywhere in between. So it means a lot to say it officially: I’m now part of the @jako_ag brand. Same brand, new chapter.
