Had THE most fun at @denverporchfest 🤘🏻

Probably the best organized year one event I’ve been to. The app worked well, the merch is cute, there were plenty of vendors and bathrooms spread around, etc.

If you ever do a year in Berkeley, my porch is open!

Is it still a 🍯🌙 six years later?

Spent two weeks exploring Catalunya, València, & Mallorca with my pookie. We practiced Spanish (& Russian?), navigated many many forms of public transit, ate well (without recalls 👀), witnessed AP Euro marriages & wars IRL, and overall decided another six years (or maybe 60?) sounds great.

And, to top it all off, the only time we heard tr*mps name was when a lovely Austrian man expressed mock surprise that we’re still allowed to leave the country!

It was a beautiful reminder to take care of your neighbors, to vote, and to keep giving many many sh*ts even when it feels hopeless.

The feminine urge to redecorate every bathroom 👹

If I can convince you to do one thing in Barcelona, it’s to take a stroll through @casavicens. This was Gaudi’s first important residential commission, built for Manuel Vicens, and is now considered the beginning of “Catalan Modernisme.”

It underwent a meticulous restoration to become a museum and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This weekend we got to witness the cutest patooties (@elissa1124 & @breakfasthaver) getting married in Carbondale, CO.

It’s such a joy to celebrate their love and to be a part of the community they’ve brought together.

It felt like college in all the best ways: walking to each other’s houses and running into friends at breakfast, at the grocery store, at the climbing crag, getting ice cream, driving home, etc.

Sitting on my porch back in Denver and just feeling so grateful for this weekend and these people!
