My first (and favourite) yoga teacher was my Mum 🧘‍♀️

She taught yoga for over 37 years, retiring just before her 70th birthday.

She has been my biggest inspiration and supporter of everything thing I’ve done in life, particularly when I decided to train as a yoga teacher 🧘

I now have the joy of leading my Mum in her yoga practice as she comes along to my classes. A full circle moment ☺️

Happy International Yoga Day 🧘‍♀️ and Happy Summer Solstice ☀️

As we enjoy the longest day of the year it’s a good opportunity to pause and look back on the journey we’ve been on since the winter solstice and also to look forward to our journey to the next winter solstice and think about what we might like to achieve in the second half of the year.

Hope you get the opportunity to pause and take some time for yourself today either on or off your mat 💫🧘‍♀️ by @movewithmoyna

Moving in a different way for me recently 🚲

It’s many a year since I’ve been cycling but I am loving getting to enjoy all the beautiful scenery that I’d miss if I was driving 🤩

The e-bike helps with the hills too 😉🚴‍♀️ taken in Frigiliana España by @movewithmoyna

This time last year I took a leap of faith and left my full time corporate job to follow my passion 🧘‍♀️

It was a HUGE and scary decision for me but I took the leap.

It’s been at times frightening, joyful, freeing, and exhilarating 💫

I’ve learnt so much, not just about teaching yoga and Pilates but also about myself and what is important to me in life 💛

Do I have it all worked out? Absolutely not, but I’m trusting that things are working out for me as they should ☺️
