How has it already been a week?!

The night before the big day was all about
Love + Pizza… which honestly feels like a
pretty perfect combination. 🍕🤍

First, they rehearsed.

Then, we ate pizza.

And the very next day… they got married.
Such a fun night with our favorite people,
celebrating Ethan + Stephanie and soaking up every little bit of the weekend before the big day.

All You Need Is Love + Pizza.

This trip keeps reminding me of the cross-country drive I took with my mom in 2005, when I moved from Massachusetts to California. She wasn’t about to miss that opportunity, so she flew out to make the drive with me—and had our route mapped out from BBQ joint to bakery across the country. Food stops were a very important part of the itinerary. 😂

I have my own obsession with wood-fired pizza, so today Allove and I stopped at @mozzapi outside Louisville, Kentucky.

Of course, the designer in me had just as much to look at as the pizza lover had to eat. Those enormous arched doors, all that brick and wood, the exposed beams, and that CLOCK. Naturally, I took photos of everything.

Allove has been equally obsessed with pizza her entire life. Swipe to the last photo for puppy proof—that little face has been patiently waiting for a bite for years. 😂🐾🍕

Twenty-one years later, I’m still making my way across the country with a travel companion who takes food stops very seriously. Apparently, planning a trip around something delicious runs in the family. ❤️

We recently checkout out this hidden gem pizza place tucked near the heart of anchorage in Louisville. 🥰🍕

The building itself is super cool with really tall ceilings and dark wood. It’s open but still cozy. There’s also a loft upstairs for additional seating or private events + a few tables out back for outdoor seating.

This is a cute casual date night spot or would be fun with the friend group! 🫶

(They also have pastries + coffee drinks in the mornings! 😍)
