Another home, another lighting design challenge—and this one was a fun one.

I’m @mpconklin, owner of LUCE Lighting + Luxuries, and I’ve had the opportunity to design the lighting for the homes featured on @bettingonbeloit .

This week, we’re taking you inside 631 College. From the outside, this home feels grand, but inside, we had to be intentional with every space—using lighting to make each room feel comfortable, elevated and larger than its footprint.

A few spaces you’ll definitely want to watch for: the dining room and a little powder room on the main floor that packs a lot of personality.

Tune in to Betting on Beloit on A&E Saturdays at 11 AM, or stream it the next day.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone that reached out with birthday wishes yesterday. And thanks to Konya Hendricks-Schuh and Matt Schuh for the treats! Was treated to drinks and dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Room Service Bayview, by Paul Christopher and Jeff Ketterhagen and a lovely nightcap with Bill Johnston. by @lucelightingllc
