Join neighborhood guide Tim Hoey for a FREE guided trolley bus tour of Newark’s Forest Hill Historic District, right here in our North Newark community. Over nearly two hours, you’ll learn the stories behind Forest Hill’s grand homes, colorful personalities, and architectural legacy.

📅 Saturdays, October 3 & October 24
🕙 Tours at 10 to 11:45am and 1 to 2:45pm
🌧️ Rain dates: Sundays, October 4 & October 25

Mount Prospect is a neighborhood defined by its character and part of that character is the greenery that lines our streets and storefronts. Our plantings and street trees are a labor of love, and today we’re especially grateful for them.
🗑️ That love extends to cleanliness too. Our team works hard to remove litter, keep up with garbage collection, and address illegal dumping so that the environment we’re nurturing stays protected. A greener neighborhood starts with a cleaner one.

In honor of Earth Month, we are making a bold commitment to the environment. Effective immediately, bike lanes will become the only mode of transit in the Mount Prospect neighborhood. All streets will be closed to vehicles, NJ Transit bus and train service will be suspended, and every commuter is expected to arrive by bicycle — no exceptions. We believe this is the only responsible path forward for our planet. 🚲🌱
