Had the absolute pleasure of seeing Turnstile for the first time this weekend at Bumbershoot, thought I'd take a stab at "Seeing Stars" and give my delay/reverb pedal something to do. taken in Seattle, Washington by @mqultra

I did it. Here's my Tiny Desk Contest entry, "Morse Code". I've wanted to do a solo entry for a long time and why not now? Check out the full length at the link in my bio or on the official contest website.

"Do It Scared: A Very Open Mic " returns to The Rabbit Box Theatre next Wednesday 9.16. Hosted by MQULTRA with Special Guest Carlin John.

"Carlin John is the courtly crooner for sophisticated swooners. Singing songs of heart-break and love-make, each and every performance comes from the depths of his emotive soul, with the sole intention of moving yours. He is not to be missed. And he definitely did not write this himself."

"You might know MQULTRA better as Marquetta Miller, front woman of the now-defunct Seattle funk and soul band Breaks and Swells. Bad nights out, broken hearts, and self-reflection sit at the center of Miller's lyrical universe; MQULTRA is an exploration of her broader musical taste, with nods to power pop, yacht rock, blues and indie rock, while still informed by a deep love for R&B."

Super stoked to have a new practice space closer to my apartment, been trying to get in there as much as possible. I've been really into the new Strokes record and this is one of my faves so I thought I'd give it a spin. taken in Seattle, Washington by @mqultra

A year ago I had to say goodbye to my best buddy, my sweet little Chicken. No matter what chaos was going on in my life, a quick snuggle from The Chicken would always quiet things down. She was extremely shy, but an absolute lover once she knew you. The rare cat who would accept a belly rub. An extreme yapper. She possessed the ability to always sense when you eere down. To say that 2025 was rough would be an understatement and I wasn't sure how I was going to get through the rest of the year without my partner in crime. But I'm still here, and I'll never forget her. 🖤 taken in Seattle, Washington by @mqultra
