When was the last time you took a leisurely drive down the familiar neighborhood streets of your childhood?

Tonight was one of those nights. Windows down, wind in the hair, sunset radiating in the rear view - reflecting on decisions of my past, those I'm proud of, and those I'm not - remembering those that I've loved and those that I've lost - reminiscing the good times, and the bad - and contemplating what feels to be countless separate lifetimes that have past, all of which often feel completely disconnected, yet all containing minor fragments that have inevitably woven into the fabric of today's reality.

And here and now, I'm grateful, for today, for this moment in time, and for all of the moments that have led up to this day. And and time continues, I, too, hope to continue learning, growing and becoming a better human.

To those I've hurt, I'm sorry.
To those who have hurt me, know that you're forgiven.

For those who have loved me, know that your love is received.
For those who I love, I hope you have felt and received my love.

For those looking for change, know that it's never too late to shift your perspective and to change your mind and your world. We all have the power to live a life of peace, joy and gratitude.

A flower doesn’t close off simply because a storm passes through. It continues spreading its natural aroma to the world—it trusts that the conditions and experiences that come its way were meant for it

The winds remind it of the strength in its roots; from the clouds, it learns patience—to sit still and move through darkness without expectation; and in this seemingly hostile environment, the rains nourish the flower, leading to its eventual growth

To bloom doesn’t mean that everything is suddenly perfect and comfortable

It means that even in the face of adversity, you are willing to remain open and curious. In each moment, you can ask yourself ‘What possibilities are here for me right now?’

To bloom doesn’t mean you never feel the emotion of fear— it simply means in every moment, you are willing to be Present. To confront, not run away from, your darkness

To bloom is to fully trust and open to the Unfolding of the Universe

Been floating as of late.

Between the seen and unseen.
The felt and unfelt.
The dreaming and the awake.
The duality of existence and non-exhistence.

Weaving the lines of this so called reality and exploring what lies beyond, before and between.

What is, what was and what has always been - which all appear now to be simultaneously here, in this very moment.

Not separate.
Not before, nor after.

But all coexisting as one.

All possibilities.
All outcomes.

Our path along those infinite possibilities being directed only by our observation of truth.

Sometimes new melodies come the moment you sit down to play, and other times, let's be real...MOST of the time...it never happens at all. At least for me. 😊

One thing I've been really focusing on these past few weeks is intention. Intention in everything I do. My presence, my meditation, and my practice. Why am I doing this? Is it important to me? What value does it bring? Does it make the world a better place? Does it make me a better human?

Questioning my intention has helped me center, focus and align myself with what truly matters to me.

Tonight, after a few hours of random jamming, I finally decided to put a little bit of intention behind it. And here's a little bit of what came from it. New works in progress, but enjoy! 🙂
