“I can hardly wait to find a place to put you on a platform with me. Because if you’re good — THIS good all the time? Then you and I… we’ll do some stuff” - @johncmaxwell

So story time….

Back in December, I had an opportunity to pour into some of John Maxwell’s leaders. It was his first time hearing me speak, and to say it went well would be an understatement.

Within a week, I was hired to do another event for his leaders this upcoming March! I think the best is yet to come.

For many years, I’ve honed my craft and sharpened my gift in quiet spaces. 2026 will be the year that my voice and influence is amplified to help more people (because now, I know I can).

Grateful for my new mentors John Maxwell and @ryanleak and the knowledge and encouragement they’ve given me.

Also thankful for @chadjohnson10 for believing in me and trusting me. You are a master at creating spaces and places for leaders to thrive and win.

Most people overthink their way out of doing what they know would take them to their next level; however, the greats know that your best self is on the other side of action. by @mr.mjpittman

What a powerful morning with our Legacy Leaders community in Boca hearing from @mr.mjpittman ! 🙌

Today’s message, “The Winner’s Advantage,” reminded us that lasting success starts within—with the beliefs we carry, how we prepare, and what we speak to ourselves.

Three takeaways we’re carrying into this week:
• Be willing to fail, learn, and keep showing up.
• Prepare for what’s next by building your capacity today.
• Speak truth and faith over yourself, even when discouragement gets loud.

Grateful for a room of leaders committed to growing in faith, business, and the legacy they’re building. The impact continues in how we put today’s message into action. taken in Boca Raton, Florida by @mr.mjpittman

Legacy Leaders. October 12th. Here's who's speaking.

MJ Pittman. Founder and CEO of Simple Money Academy. Built his career at the intersection of financial literacy, leadership, communication, and influence.

He helps people move past knowing what to do and actually taking action.

At Legacy Leaders he's diving into leading with conviction, communicating in a way that moves people, creating ownership within your team, and executing when the path forward isn't clear.

Because great leadership isn't just about what you know.

It's about what you can move into action.

How are we old enough to have a 10 year old? 😭

Happy Birthday Elijah! On your 10th birthday, here are 10 things we love about him:

1. He is a boy’s boy. He likes fast cars, big houses, and slam dunks. It makes me so excited about the activities. We will enjoy together in the future because of our shared interest.

2. My boy already thinks like a business owner lol. He is always talking about the money. He is going to make one day and what he will do for his career.

3. Although he is getting bigger, he does have his moments when he acts like our little boy. He will come into our room just to give us a hug and cuddle.

4. He is a great reader. He scores exceptionally high on his reading tests at school. Impact I remember getting a picture from his kindergarten teacher reading to the rest of the class.

5. He has chosen good friends on his own

6. He loves Jesus. This makes me happy as his dad.

7. He is very coachable if you tell Elijah to correct something he will fix it. This has helped him so much in athletics.

8. He is a phenomenal conversationalist. He makes good points, asks great questions and he is truly an interested extrovert.

9. He is others oriented. Sometimes he will randomly make us breakfast. Even though he had a birthday party on Saturday, he wanted to make sure his camp friends had cupcakes today for his actual birthday. He is always thinking about other people.

10. His genuine laugh and smile. There’s nothing like an authentic Elijah belly laugh. When something is funny to him, it becomes funny to everyone else because of his laugh.

My dad decided to enjoy Mardi Gras from Heaven this year. 🙏🏾

@coachpittbasketball peacefully transitioned on Sunday February 15th, 2026

While many knew him as “Coach”, “Frat” or “Big Bro”, the badges he wore most proudly were Dad to me and my siblings, “Papa Pitt” to his grandchildren, son to his mother, and Bae to his wife @drfeleciapittman

Michael Pittman, Jr. was truly one of a kind. He was unapologetically himself. He was the life of the party and he never met a stranger. He put others above himself. He was a pleasure to be around. He was known for good vibes.

He was kindness personified.
And he will be so so missed.

While it is strange to reference him in the past tense, there is good news in this. My dad loved Jesus. He raised us in church. He guided us in prayer. He was committed to his daily devotional; therefore, our hope is not in what we have experienced but in what we will experience altogether one day in eternity.

So isn’t a goodbye. More like a see you later.
Or in the words of my dad, “I’ll holla!”

As service arrangements get finalized, we will be sure to update you all here. Thank you for your prayers and for believing God with us.

In the meantime, if you have a fond memory with him, please share it below. Our family would love to read how he impacted you.

Rest in peace, dad. 🖤💛 by @mr.mjpittman
