Every ribbon on that badge is a reason I show up for our schools.

The CMS Foundation Annual Luncheon was nothing short of spectacular (per usual), and was a reminder for why we invest so heavily in our local schools. Major shoutout to my homegirl and THE BEST Carrie Cook for the invitation out, and ALWAYS being a real one since our pre-teen days lol. It was wonderful seeing EVERYONE that I did!

Also, I want to give a BIG shoutout to Kevin Poirier and everything he is doing at Harry P. Harding University High School. He was even able to get all Harding University High School Community Partners to throw up the “U”!

Strong neighborhoods build strong schools. With bussing in CMS LONG gone, schools tend to reflect the resources and struggles or prosperity of the neighborhoods around them. There is a residual impact on our kids and schools when we are building together. Let’s keep building. 💪🏾

I’m honored to share that I’ve been accepted into Leadership Charlotte Class 48.

This program has been shaping community leaders in the Queen City since 1978 — and to be counted among that legacy means everything. From my work with Esoteric Enterprises to what we’re building at A|G Sports & Entertainment, every move I’ve made has been rooted in this city and the people in it.
