Alumni. Parent. Volunteer. Taxpayer. Friend.🎗️ Every ribbon on that badge is a reason I show up for our schools. The CMS Foundation Annual Luncheon was nothing short of spectacular (per usual), and was a reminder for why we invest so heavily in our local schools. Major shoutout to my homegirl and THE BEST Carrie Cook for the invitation out, and ALWAYS being a real one since our pre-teen days lol. It was wonderful seeing EVERYONE that I did! Also, I want to give a BIG shoutout to Kevin Poirier and everything he is doing at Harry P. Harding University High School. He was even able to get all Harding University High School Community Partners to throw up the “U”! Strong neighborhoods build strong schools. With bussing in CMS LONG gone, schools tend to reflect the resources and struggles or prosperity of the neighborhoods around them.
