My first car was a 93 MR2 Turbo and I never looked back.

First day back on track after blowing a motor a month earlier. I wouldn’t be back so soon if it wasn’t for all the support from the community. Here is a hot lap at Summit Point Jefferson riding in the @frankensteinmotorworks @wilhelmraceworks @litespeedracing @hillyard_automotive and @pipermotorsports modified Track Attack MR2. We were able to run a 1:16.95 resetting the SCCA Max 4 class record. Special thanks to @the.mad.scientist1 helping me with the motor and trans swap and @treyalbrecht @insanewayzmotorsports for getting me on the dyno days before the event and @karcepts for MCS canister tuning. Still a lot more testing and modifications to be done before the next event, but feels great to be back in action. by @mr2.san

First time at #dominionraceway with #wdcrscca. It was a scorcher of a weekend, but had a lot of fun learning the track. Signed up for Max 2 this event, battling against some crazy fast turbo Miata's. Big thanks to @treyalbrecht for a ride along and track instruction Saturday evening. Sunday I was able to drop 4 seconds with his track beta and take home the Max 2 win. Here is the the hot lap, a 1:31.4 on a super hot day isn't too bad for my first time there. Can't wait to go back and get into the 20s!

Thanks again to @nosleevepete for renting me his #futuratrailers. Driving home in the #sequoia after a track day was a dream come true.

Need to rent a trailer in NOVA, but tired of cumbersome uhaul options? Contact @nosleevepete and rent a sleek Futura trailer instead! Made my first towing experience down to Dominion Raceway effortless and enjoyable. Pain free loading and unloading gave me more time to focus on learning the track for the first time. Finally uploading footage from previous events.

Time was an 1:18.4 (Forgot to switch tracks to Jefferson before the run).

Car a hair twitchy this weekend, as I may have dialed in too much front toe out. Worked out on the tight turns of Jefferson.

We made it to the track (don’t ask me how much sleep I got)! Sixth fastest overall in TT, not bad for a Max 4 build. Will upload some footage soon… by @mr2.san

Will continue with the build progress, but glimpse into the future/present. Cage is being completed now, so hanging at the track today instructing until it is complete. Brought the RX7 today for a nice ride in air conditioned comfort. Do you like FDs? Let me know and I can add more content on all the mods to that car as well. by @mr2.san

I guess people want to see parts (don’t mind the random foot). Wagon loaded up to bring the first shipment to Piper Motorsports. Do you like wagons? This was manual converted and 328 swapped by a friend. I may have recently swapped it again. Can add that for fun later. by @mr2.san
