"Shamrock 8K was an incredible family affair! ☘️

Alissa absolutely rocked her first race, and I'm so proud of her! It was amazing watching my youngest three crush the 8k for their second year in a row. Congrats Kaylee, Anthony, and Caleb on a job well done. The highlight was definitely watching the kids running back to join Alissa and crossing the finish line together! 💙❤️😭

Huge thanks to my parents for always being there for anything, and for making sure that the kids felt the love throughout the race. Family support makes all the difference!

And thank you to our 'Weoffthecouch' family for the epic cheers along the route and being present to help make today beautiful! I love you guys to the absolute Max!

Beyond grateful! #1 on @billboard 8/24/19 for contributions to Rick Ross's POMII. Then on my birthday 8/14/20 our first sync placements on an animated movie "fearless" catch it on @netflix. It went top 10 first week released. Thank you @t_rva for always believing in me and telling me my beats were dope when they needed serious work 😂. You've always been the real MVP. Thank you my love. Representation STILL matters. Getting more Black runners to that start line is about taking up space, kicking down doors, and creating access. I'm executing on that course and crossing that finish line so every Black boy and girl watching knows that we can and do excel at the highest level.

Watching Alissa grow into her own independence still refusing to part with her favorite jacket, even while showing off her new purse is an absolute joy.

She's in her senior year of high school now, and turning 18 in November. She’s already made it clear that she expects all her school friends and the WeOffTheCouch run group to show up to party, so y'all better look out for these invites soon!

I'm so proud to be her dad. Being present for her is a true joy, and I wouldn't ever want it any other way building her a legacy of love that will carry her into the next chapter of her life with complete confidence.

“Navre” sorry, heartbroken. A fitting backdrop to honor the process of grieving, healing, and moving through life’s unexpected turns. I hold deep reverence for where I’ve been and what was, while completely falling in love with what is and what’s becoming.

Sitting here, it's powerful to look back and recognize I’ve been on a beautiful path the whole time. Finding myself content in God’s timing and His will for my life is a true blessing. Realizing my dreams and aspirations have always been His wildest dreams for me first.

Anthony (@mr_.808 ) and @weoffthecouch are big on safety. During last week’s @sweatwithyoursole with @officialblackgirlsrun shakeout run for the Richmond 16.19k with @dhf_org , the we off the couch crew ensured all runner’s and walkers safety with intentional directions and call outs. It’s imperative that safety remains in the forefront as more people become involved in the sport.
