Our April women’s open mat was such a brilliant event.

We had women and girls of all ages and abilities on the mats, plenty of rounds, and to top it all off, an incredible amount of food collected for our local food bank. ❤️

So we’re doing it again!

Women’s Open Mat - Sunday 1st November
📍 Ippon Gym, Bournemouth
🥋 All ages & abilities welcome
💷 Completely FREE

All we ask is that you bring along a food donation for the local food bank if you can. Last time you guys absolutely smashed it, and it would be amazing to do the same again.

DM to sign up as we are limiting spaces available 🥋

Received my black belt last night from @mr_ippon - cannot believe it! Many years of blood sweat and tears have gone into this. Thank you for everything Jeff, all at @ippongym, Kurdt and the entire team at @renzograciect

Here’s some photos from over the years. Now excuse me whilst I go and deal with my imposter syndrome 😂

Got my third degree back in April 2024. With many of my students competing at IBJJF events I thought it would only be fair that I should get this certification so I can approve their grades. This is my first certificate from the IBJJF. 🥋 by @mr_ippon

IBJJF Milan Open🥈

I’m not where I want to be yet, but I will get there one day, today just wasn’t that day.

Had 4 fights I won 2 of them by submission and lost the rest to some tough competition.

Thanks to my teammates, sponsors and family for getting me to this point, I really appreciate it❤️
