Challenge Wānaka Duathlon DONE!

14km run
Was a bit of a slog in tough conditions. But got it done.
Shout out to my biggest supporters, the race organisers, all the volunteers and all the athletes. Epic event 💪🙌.

Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand 2027, Committee member @mrbenjay Ben Leen, Winemaker, Amisfield

What excites me about New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc? The grape that put us on the global wine map! Talk about stamping your authority. Along with being renowned as having a beautifully dramatic landscape, we are equally as well-known for producing totally unique Sauvignon Blanc. In fact, it wasn’t until I spent time overseas that I truly understood its uniqueness. Sauvignon at Amisfield is special to us. We have the largest planting in Central. We craft two styles; fresh and vibrant bursting with flavour and a more restrained barrel-aged version showing SBs versatility. Both delicious and equally important to our portfolio. I’m stoked to be part of the SB27 Committee. It’s going to be a huge celebration!

I will leave you with this hack: For an electric breakfast cocktail try Gin & freshly squeezed SB Juice over ice. Only available at harvest. @snoopdogg would be proud.

Quick trip up the Hooker Valley Trail. Started off Grey and cloudy but the star of the show poked through the clouds just as we arrived at Hooker Lake.

Hike into Routeburn Flats.
Only 7.5km into the hut. Great option for little legs.
Plenty of dancing (and candy) on the trail to keep morale up 💃🕺
