TICKETS: ayli-sf.com

Friday, December 11
@monarchsf · 10PM–2AM · 21+ · $15–30

Axel Boman returns to Monarch for his first open-to-close set with AYLI.

Axel first played AYLI in 2014, came back to Monarch in 2016 and played Public Works twice in 2018. A 2020 rooftop date was lost to the lockdown. Born and raised in Stockholm, he co-founded and still runs Studio Barnhus, the house and left-field pop label. His records have come out on Pampa, Mule Musiq, Permanent Vacation, DFA and Cocoon, and with John Talabot he records as Talaboman on R&S.

Unedited means no openers and no interruptions: one continuous set, from doors to close.

Tickets at the link in bio.

Bay Area based. I have a resume for each.

If you know of something, or someone I should talk to, DM me. Welcome to share in your story. taken in Oakland, California by @mrbispo

A while back, I decided intent mattered more than anything else. I wanted AYLI to lead with authenticity and culture. That’s why Unabridged came back, why Unedited started, and why there’s more on the way.

This one brings together two rave legends who helped build the Bay Area dance community. It takes me back to my youth, and I couldn’t be prouder to host them for a Halloween jam.

Jeno b2b @djmarkie_wicked_sf — All Night Long

Saturday, October 24
@undergroundsf · 10PM–2AM · 21+ · $10–20

Two founding figures of the San Francisco underground go back to back, all night long.

Jenö and Markie first came up together in late-’80s London, throwing Whoosh!—an outlaw acid-house party in an East London bookstore—and running with the Tonka Hi-Fi Sound System on Brighton Beach. After moving to San Francisco in 1991, they launched the Wicked Full Moon parties, helping shape the sound and spirit of West Coast dance music.

Unedited means no openers and no interruptions: one continuous set, from doors to close. Expect house classics, psychedelic grooves, deep cuts, and the kind of left-field discoveries that made Wicked legendary.

Tickets at the link in bio.

"…we can create these musical experiences that just can't be boiled down to a viral clip or an hour set at a festival." — @dj_spun

Unedited is built on exactly that. One artist, one room, all night. The time and space to take it somewhere a highlight reel never could.

Theo Parrish (@soundsignature)
Oakland, CA
April 19, 2026

It was a dream and a scheme to photograph Theo Parrish in Oakland this spring. To me he is one of the ultimate creative spirits. Got to snap a couple portraits while setting up for his 7-hour set at the @aylisf / @unabridgedlive Backyard BBQ, and later he sent voiceover for the last video. Thank you for everything Theo @soundsignature

Massive shoutout to @mrbispo for making it all happen by @mrbispo

This one is personal for me. I first heard @dj_spun at The Gathering. One of the first nights I understood what house music could do to a room. That stuck.

DJ Spun was part of the founding generation of SF’s acid house scene. He played the Trocadero Transfer and Townsend. He ran Promo Only, which introduced the disco edit craze to the US. He built Rong Music with Ben Cook into one of the sharpest labels of the 2000s through a dual-imprint deal with DFA, releasing music from James Chance and the Contortions and Coati Mundi alongside records that sat comfortably nowhere.For seven years he curated MoMA/PS1’s Warm Up series in New York. His All Night Rong sets have run in rooms from London to Tokyo. He is back home in the Bay. Photo by @alexxconroy

Greetings, Earthlings.

There is something about bringing a sound system into a meadow that resets the terms of the whole thing. No stage. No barrier between the speakers and the grass. Just a blanket, a sky, and a lineup of five artists who understand that ambient, experimental, and electronic music have always been in conversation with the natural world.

Saturday May 30, @earthling.fyi x @aylisf set up shop at Elk Glen Meadow for an afternoon of outdoor listening on a beautiful sound system.

Five artists across four hours: @yantrarhythm opens at 11:30, followed by @coolmaritime, @matthewdavidmcq with @cole.pulice on saxophone, then @colloboh on modular, and @__shigeto closing the meadow before sunset.

Bring-your-own-blanket and outdoor-listening-bar energy. All ages. Free, donation supported. The deep experimental roots of the Bay get to breathe in the open air.

#throwbackthursday We’re just four days out from a uniquely Oakland experience.
A month ago, @moodymann313 & @marcelluspittman took us on a five-hour journey at @7thwestoakland. Now, Theo Parrish (@soundsignature) goes open to close. April 19 · 3–10PM.
We’re taking over @theloomoakland — a raw, open-air industrial playground in the heart of Oakland. Sunlight, steel, brick, and sound, in a space built for art, music, and community.
Inside, @smartbomboakland steps into the Universe Room alongside @spaceghostoakland, @susjesus, @on.mommas, @et_v, and @three6sashiaa, with live visuals by @naturalcurves69. @nvrovrbbq returns, serving nothing but quality.
