It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Freddie Jackson, who went home to rest last night.
🕊️
Freddie was more than a legendary voice. He was a kind, generous soul who loved his fans, his family, his friends, and his music with everything he had. For decades he gave us the songs that became the soundtrack to our love stories, our celebrations, and our most treasured memories. That gift will live on forever.
🕊️
To everyone who ever sang along, danced, or felt something when Freddie took the stage: thank you. You were family to him, and he carried your love with him always.
🕊️
Please keep his family, friends, and loved ones in your prayers during this difficult time. Details regarding arrangements and how to honor his legacy will be shared in the coming days.
🕊️
Rest in peace, Freddie. Your legacy and your voice will live on forever. 🙏🏾❤️

Happy 69th birthday to the legend, @mrfreddiejackson !
Ten years as a musical director, producer and friend. We’ve been through a lot. Traveled the world together and have more stories than I could ever fit in one post. Through all of it, I’ve learned a lot and love the family we’ve built together. May God bless you always!

This is a great reminder from the queen @oprah that summer ain’t over yet, my friends! ☀️

The weekend is here, the grill is going, the music is playing, so you know it’s time to jam!

I’m so blessed that after all these years, the music still brings this kind of joy. That’s what it’s all about. 🙏🏾❤️

Now tell me — what are you jamming to this weekend? Let me know in the comments. 👇🏾

What a pleasure spending service with New York State Senator Cordell Cleare. 🙏🏾

She celebrated me during Black Music Month, and I thanked her for all the love and support. Moments like these mean everything. ❤️

On my way back now — have a blessed day, everybody!

I appreciate the love from @joebudden and the podcast. But let me clear up the rumors— Luther Vandross was my FRIEND. Not my rival. Not my competition. My friend. 🙏🏾@marclamonthill — next time just ask ME, I’ll tell you the real story.
😄
The people compared us. The media compared us. Luther and I just laughed about it — and if you knew Luther, you know he was the biggest prankster alive. That man would start fake arguments with me in public just to watch people’s faces.
Luther is one of the greatest to ever do it. Always has been. Always will be. And I was blessed to call him my brother.
.
Now… back to those hits y’all couldn’t count.

Someone sent this to me and I was hollerin 😂😂. I am so grateful and humbled that the music still resonates all these years later. God blessed me with every single one of those records and I don’t take it lightly. Thank you @joebudden and the podcast for the love. I’m glad Joe learned today! 😂😂
.
Come see me live and let’s Jam together!

We have lost yet one of the most phenomenal voices of all times — Mr. Peabo Bryson. He will be missed by many. We shared the stage, the road, and the love for Soul and R&B. I send my prayers to his family, friends, and fans.
May he rest in peace, my brother in music. Job well done — you will be missed. You sang straight from the heart, and that heart will echo forever.
There ain’t nothing like the real thing… and Peabo was the real thing. ❤️
