Actress @michaelmichelelegit starred in four music videos for R&B singer Freddie Jackson.

• "Have You Ever Loved Somebody" (1986)
• "Nice and Slow" (1988)
• "I Don't Want to Lose Your Love" (1988)
• "Make Love Easy" (1994)

Before landing her breakout film role as Selina in the 1991 classic New Jack City, Michele supported her early acting career in New York by appearing in commercials and R&B music videos. In the mid-to-late 1980s, she became one of Jackson's definitive "video leading lady".

Freddie Jackson's fifth studio album, Time for Love, was released by Capitol Records on August 3, 1992. Serving as his final album with the label, it marked the end of an incredibly successful era for the legendary R&B balladeer.

R&B Hits & Album Success

• "I Could Use a Little Love Right Now": Released in June 1992 as the lead single, this smooth Quiet Storm track was written and produced by longtime collaborators Barry Eastmond and Jolyon Skinner. It became a major hit, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Other Singles: The album also produced the singles "Can We Try" and a poignant cover of the Gamble & Huff classic "Me and Mrs. Jones" (originally by Billy Paul).

Collaborations: The tracklist featured standout guest appearances, including saxophonist Najee on "All I'll Ever Ask" and D'Atra Hicks on "Live My Life Without You".

Music Video Rotation

The lead single was accompanied by an atmospheric, intimate music video that captured the track's late-night romantic aesthetic. It received heavy rotation on major urban contemporary networks, becoming a staple on BET's Video Soul and Midnight Love.

TV Performances

Jackson promoted the album in 1992 through notable appearances on programs like Soul Train and The Arsenio Hall Show.
