Building phase:- eating 3700 cals a day hasn’t been easy for me at all.
Stress / food anxiety with unknown skin triggers / not being properly prepared etc …the excuses are endless. (Aye @cain_choiceperformance 😂)

Regardless I’ve been cramming in food and training whenever I can. Trying to remember I’m doing all this for no particular reason but to better myself in mind and body and keep my nose out of trouble, which I can safely say works pretty well. (9 times out of 10 🤔)

I started my gym journey in my mid 30s for mental health reasons. Now I’m just loving the process, I am happy where I am at today at 40 Years young. taken in Manchester, United Kingdom by @mrjackker

Got my boy Blue back for the weekend and had to remind him what a leg session was. Started well and ended badly 😂 @blueyofficial by @mrjackker

Contrary to popular belief - I’m no expert 😂 …but one thing I don’t hear people talk about enough, when it comes to to training, is environment. Find a place where people lift and encourage you. Best thing I did when I felt flat is leave my commercial gym and get into a proper gym- @studio1_fitness - full of amazing like minded people like this legend and weapon @simonobrien2020 gassing me up. taken in Studio1 Aldershot by @mrjackker

One of my push workouts you never asked for!
Enjoy. I did 🫶😂
@cain_choiceperformance got me into a place where I not only enjoy every workout but am proud of what we achieved in a year. I trained for 6 years prior to getting proper coaching and guidance doing what I thought were all the right things. With some small but very important changes and details I’m starting to get what it actually takes for proper growth (especially at 40 years old😩) devil is in the detail. #push #gym #fitat40 taken in Studio1 Aldershot by @mrjackker

Just a couple dudes making a steak sandwich. I put mustard and ketchup in mine because deep down I’m still 6 years old and put ketchup on most things. What do you put on yours? #steak #sandwich #food #condiments taken in Guildford by @mrjackker
