The Inaugural @wilderness_wellbeing_ Skin Retreat

It's always hard putting into words what must be experienced firsthand. The Cairngorms are such a healing place, and the Basan family home exceeds all expectations when it comes to warmth, generosity, and welcoming energy.

This retreat was an absolute buzz with both time to connect, share stories, and build comminuty while also learning about many different approaches to skin health and overall wellbeing:

Delicious, skin-friendly meals from @ghilliebasan
Gut-microbiome lecture from @gut_feelings_kombucha
Somatics, breathwork, and yoga from @wildermoons
A gorgeous sound bath from @holisticsoul.speyside
Juicing and Medical Medium practices from @healthy_healer

And a fun goal setting/vision board workshop from me!

And to top it off, we had wonderdul samples delivered from @codexlabs, @balmonds_skincare, @westlabsalts, @paiskincare, @nx1project to enjoy!

As Mental Health Awareness Week comes to a close, we wanted to share some of the heartfelt advice and reflections from the incredible people in our community that we’ve interviewed over the past year.

While the physical effects of TSW are visible, the emotional and mental impact can often feel impossible to fully express. The exhaustion, isolation, uncertainty, and strength it takes to keep going each day should never be underestimated.

To everyone navigating this healing journey: we’re sending you love, support, and compassion this week and every week.
