All the best to the teams participating, go in hard this weekend. And safe travels to all teams flying in. 🙏🏿

One of the most underrated skills you can learn is the ability to ignore your mood and stick to the plan.

When it feels scary to jump, that’s exactly when you jump.

Otherwise you end up staying in the same place your whole life.

Young professionals have talent — but talent without structure doesn’t win tournaments.
Most of us don’t budget properly, don’t protect what we’re building, and don’t always have a clear game plan.

We’ve seen what mentorship can do in football.
When Hugo Broos took over the South African national football team, the talent was already there. What changed was guidance, honesty, and a clear blueprint — and suddenly potential turned into progress and success.

That same thinking is behind @oldmutualsa becoming the title sponsor of the @5quadleague — with the aim of bringing real financial know-how to the players and teams competing in Africa’s biggest 5-a-side tournament.

In this clip, Nick Koka, Creative Director of 5quad League, shares 5 financial tips in true 5-a-side format — simple, practical, and built for everyday decisions.

Because just like in football,
Old Mutual wants to be the financial coach of your dreams — helping turn talent into long-term wins. ⚽📊 #behindeverygoal by @mrnkoka
