When @mrnkoka first shared his vision of professionalising 5-a-side football in Africa, it was an easy yes. Not simply because I believe in what sport can unlock, but because Africa needs more people bold enough to build platforms that create opportunity.

This past weekend, @ireland_boys_5s became the new @5quadleague champions, ending @orlandopiratesfives remarkable run of three consecutive league titles. Congrats to the team on an incredible achievement!!

The biggest story isn’t just about who won.

It’s the stories behind the trophies that matter most - reminding us what happens when people are given a platform, a community, and an opportunity to thrive.

I’m grateful to collaborate on this journey and excited to see what comes next - because growing African sport isn’t only about producing elite athletes. It’s also about building scalable platforms that create opportunities for economic participation and inspire the next generation to believe they too, can build something impactful.

Congratulations Nick, the exceptional @5quadleague team, every club, every player and everyone working behind the scenes to create something special.
