Not a bad day. Took home daily champ. One more in this series next month worth double points. Hunting down the buckle.

It was an awesome day for all the riders we know from @zoewoodlandperformancehorses — lots of champ and reserve champs and cash from jackpot went home with the hardworking ZWPH crew.

Sorry y’all. It’s true. We’re gonna dip WAY down in temps here Friday. If you want flowers this weekend — we NEED you to order TODAY. DM if you need a bucket full or a bouquet.
•
We also need a couple volunteers to come pick flowers Friday — so we can save as many blooms as possible to do animal Bouquet Buffet this weekend. Helpers can take home a bouquet on the house. DM IF INTERESTED.

My new friend who shares my long leg syndrome.
@motogzziclassics (Mark)

Special thank you to Wyatt for snapping this photo and for the hospitality. 🫶🏻🇮🇹

FYI there’s no smoking alllwed in Mark’s shop.

I took more photos of parts than bikes or people. Therapize that later.

I make belts for people who inspire me. Mark is exactly who he is. Sure, he’s skilled with a wrench — but the human part, that’s what draws me to Mark and @motogzziclassics.

Wanted to keep it simple-ish here. The patina that Mark’s work will add (if wears this) will be better than anything I could ever stamp or tool anyway. taken in MotoGuzzi Mark by @mrs.yellowood

Just when I couldn’t figure out why a work trip was piled on when life was already feeling packed full and overwhelming and heavy — I got to spend an afternoon/evening with a human who I treasure so very much.

We explored Laguna Beach, looked (and giggled) at artwork, ate a proper girl dinner, had beers by the ocean, talked to some “treasure hunters”, watched rain come in, talked about the good and the bad and hope, and caught the sunset.

I needed this.

Teeny I love you to bits. I’m so glad we decided to talk to each other about art by the hotel pool at a soccer tournament years ago. You are a gift. taken in Laguna Beach, California by @mrs.yellowood

Love this horse so much.
Leasing a horse is such a gift.
But it’s so weird.
I love this horse. I’m invested in his wellbeing and his care, and it pains me when I can’t get out to the barn to spend time with him.
But he isn’t mine.
It’s so strange feeling like this about an animal that isn’t actually mine, and I know at any moment his owner could decide not to lease him anymore.
He’s such a good boy. Bennett and I have both learned so much in the 8 months we’ve been riding him.
I’m so excited for Bennett to ride him in her upcoming youth rodeo season. 🥹
What a team.
What a gift.
Grateful isn’t word enough.
