Watching you grow into the beautiful young woman you are has brought me more joy than I could ever put into words. Our conversations have definitely changed over the years—now it’s grown-up stuff, a little shenanigans, and LOTS of laughs! 😂

Jewelers of America celebrated our 24th Annual GEM Awards...and we showed out!
Kudos to the incredible team and committee who made the magic happen yet again. Everyone looked good, smelled good, and sparkled — what a reunion. 💎

It was also so great seeing industry friends and making new ones along the way. That’s the beauty of nights like this.

Mukosha Mulenga, CEO of Eleora Gems, in collaboration with Jeffery B of Jeffery B Jewelers, proudly designed the **Legacy Ring**—a piece that celebrates provenance, craftsmanship, and leadership within the global jewelry industry.

The ring was created for Annie Doresca, President of the Diamond Council of America and CFO of Jewelers of America. Throughout her distinguished career, Annie has been a **pioneer in advancing education, professionalism, and ethical standards within the gem and jewelry industry**. Her leadership has helped shape the next generation of professionals while strengthening trust and integrity across the global jewelry community.

As a tribute to her impact and legacy, the **Legacy Ring** was thoughtfully designed to reflect the journey of a gemstone and the people who dedicate their lives to this craft.

At its center is a striking **smoked quartz**, ethically mined in Lundazi, Zambia, and expertly cut and polished at the Eleora Gems workshop. The stone’s journey—from mine to masterfully finished jewel—symbolizes the values of transparency, responsible sourcing, and craftsmanship that Annie has championed throughout her career.

The ring will make its official debut at the Gem Awards 2026 in New York City, where it will be worn by Annie herself on one of the jewelry industry’s most prestigious stages.

Both Jeffery and Mukosha are incredibly proud to honor Annie through this piece.
