🌺Aloha!

First, thank you to everyone who follows and supports me- I appreciate you more than you know.

👩🏼‍🏫I’m Mrs. Evans, a substitute teacher floating between three schools. Teaching was never part of my original plan, but after losing our son, RaeRae, in 2022 🕊️, it’s become one of the most joyful and healing parts of my life, since. I was his main caregiver for three years, and after losing him—being around kids was the last place I thought I’d find myself.

But here I am.

Teaching has brought me deep healing. Kids love loudly, live honestly, and show up exactly as they are—and somewhere along the way, they helped me find myself again. The laughter, the chaos, the connections… all of it has been part of my healing.

I’m often asked, “Mrs., do you have any kids?”
I do—seven heavenly angels 🤍

RaeRae was my light. His life taught me deep empathy, patience, and genuine love for others. His spirit continues to guide me, and his light shines through my teaching every single day.

If you’re here for the real stuff—grief, healing, growth, and the joy found in unexpected places—thank you for being here and following my journey through both grief and teaching❤️‍🩹

I love you all🌻xo

When the girls group chat finally leaves the group chat 😂💗

Thank you @zabrinapeters2.0 for the best no sleep night ever ✨🙌🏽

Our first girls’ night sleepover at a hotel and honestly… why did we wait this long?! 😂 Snacks, late-night talks, laughing way too loud, no kids asking us for anything, and making memories with some of my favorite girls. 🥹✨ what is sleep? by @mrsevanss__

✨Best part of my morning was hearing my students say, “Mrs. Evans, you have to put a smiley face because we’re all happy.” 🥹

Sometimes you just need a little blonde refresh to feel like yourself again. ✨👱🏽‍♀️

Officially back to blonde and I couldn’t love it more! I told Kiki to do whatever she felt was best for low maintenance and my skin color. Trusting her was the best decision I made for my hair! @kikiluvshair Salon was a whole vibe I literally left crying lol🤭
