Yesterday was a dream come true. 🤍

I had the privilege of watching my beautiful friend Selina @createlina7 marry the love of her life, Corey. Every detail of their story is a testimony that the Lord is faithful. Long before they met, He was preparing the way.

Thank You, Jesus, for answering years of prayer. You truly are the Way Maker.

In a world where love can feel short-lived and transactional, it was such a gift to witness a marriage rooted in covenant, faithfulness and Christ.

“He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord.” Proverbs 18:22

A few lessons I’ve learnt in this season of my career as a corporate girly, while raising a family and serving the Lord through Restored in Christ. 💛

1. Don’t apologise for having kids or try to work as though you don’t. Instead, be transparent about the rhythm of your day and hold yourself accountable. Your family isn’t a weakness to hide.

2. Sometimes you drop the ball. You miss your child’s first assembly because a work trip comes up, and that’s really hard. But it’s also okay. You’ll be at the next assembly, and you are still a good mummy.

3. Recognise the gifts God has given you and steward them well. We’re so quick to focus on the things we don’t do well that we overlook the areas where God has uniquely equipped us. Know your strengths, be confident in how He has made you, and don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself with humility, giving Him the glory.

4. Sometimes deadlines, new workflows and training all collide, and your mental health takes a hit. It’s okay to have a bad day. Recognise it for what it is, a bad day, not a bad life.

5. Wear your favourite colours, show up, and be grateful. Once upon a time, you could only dream of having the opportunity to do what you’re doing now. It may not be perfect, but it is progress, and that’s worth celebrating. 💛

We’re so excited to welcome Louis Rei & Laura Nicole to the Restored in Christ LIVE stage!

Many will know Louis Rei @louisreiwstrn as a recording artist, prolific poet and member of WSTRN, whose music has reached audiences around the world. He is also the Founder of Wholesome Activities.

Joining him is his beautiful bride Laura Nicole @lauraniccolle , host of the Turnt For Good Podcast, where she shares honest conversations about faith, identity and walking with Christ. Together, Louis Rei and Laura Nicole are passionate about pointing people to Jesus and using their platforms to glorify God.

Their story is one of radical surrender. Their conversation will encourage singles, those who are dating, engaged and unmarried couples to discover that God’s design is always worth trusting. Through vulnerability, biblical wisdom and powerful testimony, they’ll show that obedience is never about restriction, it’s about making room for God’s restoration.
