Please keep praying for us as we seek to reach high schoolers’ hearts with food, fun, friendship, and a thriving relationship with the one true God who loves them.

Really, really enjoyed our 14th summer on this lake! So thankful for our family, this sacred place, and this annual rhythm. Rested and ready to fly home to the church and city I love.

2 months ago we started Sunday Dinners in our home with 3 high school students and a vision to give high schoolers a place to hang out and enjoy food, fun, friends, and Bible teaching. @mrstaylorbuzzard and I have been teaching about who Jesus is and what it looks like to follow him as a high school student in today’s wild world. The group keeps growing as students bring their friends to experience and hear what’s happening here.

Adults, please pray for what’s happening here. High schoolers, reach out to my sons or me if you want to come.

Last month I met @markellbaldwin, a groom who booked a stay in our Guest House the night before his wedding. Markell shared that he needed help writing his vows, so I handed him a copy of my book, Date Your Wife. The next morning that led to my book and me appearing in the groomsmen photos Markell had booked to take on our property.

These guys were so much fun. You know what else is fun? You and your spouse can book a Date Your Wife Weekend—a unique marriage care experience that my wife and I have created for you here at our Guest House. Book for yourself, or refer a friend (link also in bio): https://www.justinbuzzard.net/date-your-wife-weekends

Slipped on @crubuzzard’s pads to teach Hudson some defensive end moves and how to get pad level low to hit hard. Freshman Hudson plays Defensive End and Quarterback on a studly Junior Varsity team of 63 players. The Lincoln Lions play their first game this Thursday versus Leigh (JV 4:30pm, Varsity 7pm). Come watch a game this season to cheer on my older two boys. Go, Lions! I wish I could suit up.
