Better late than never right?! 👏🏼🙌🏼 @bohemeaesthetics + @botanicalverbiage + Baby Leo had so much fun at the @thewellspring.church Women’s Conference sharing our passion project 🕯️✨Coachella Valley hand poured candles where each scent note has an intentional biblically based symbolism. 🕊️ Thoughtfully curated with the purist ingredients from Franki’s expertise… where we LOVE hearing that they don’t bother the husbands allergies like most candles… and a lot of the ladies use the coconut wax as a perfume too 🤭😍

For those that weren’t able to grab our Christmas Emmanuel before they ran out, they are currently being poured and we thank you so much for back-ordering + your patience! Our Signature Psalms, we just restocked 6 more that are available now… AND be on the lookout for our THIRD scent release that is very near + dear to our hearts (✨ ⛪️ hint hint 😉)

Thank you for your support + love for our ROOTS Collab 🤍🕯️ 📖 and for Wellspring Church to always openly welcoming us

Xo, Nicole, Franki, and Leo 😘

THE HOSPITAL OF EMOTIONS
📍 LA

A work of heART. We checked in as “patients” and stepped inside an abandoned Los Angeles hospital with 70+ artists and 80 rooms and wandered through former patient rooms, operating rooms and hospital hallways… each transformed to explore emotions like joy, fear, love, sadness, hope and resilience.

Love love LOVED exploring with Walker + Olivia and hearing their different interpretations and the artist’s beautiful intentionality.

What made it even more meaningful was discovering that several installations were created alongside nonprofits serving people experiencing homelessness, mental-health challenges and veterans living with PTSD.

AND the hospital itself is also being transformed into a behavioral health and supportive housing campus…. Like The People Concern is partnering on 172 units of permanent housing planned for the St. Vincent campus. 🫶🏼🙏🏼

These colors came into focus so beautifully. ✨
Through the draping process, we looked at value, chroma and temperature, watching how each shift affected her natural coloring. The warmer tones gave us an important comparison, while the lighter, softly cool colors brought the focus right back to her.
Her best soft petal pink, soft off-white and silver were especially beautiful on her — soft, fresh and harmonious without overpowering her.
And there she was — Light Summer. ✨

Olivia had been wanting to have her colors done for quite some time and had even been trying to figure them out digitally, so having an in person session was really special for her. 🎨
A few moments from her analysis as we moved through value and temperature, talked about the metals that work best for her, and then a look back at where we started, with contrast.
Each step helps narrow things down until we find the colors that work beautifully with her natural coloring.
And a big thank you to her mom, Nicole, for bringing us together for this fun collaboration!
Season reveal coming next ✨

My first Botanical Verbiage orders 🙏🏼🫶🏼 SEVEN YEARS ago we launched 💐

What started out as a vision of shipping dried Language Arrangements all across the country as celebration gifts for the Network Marketing industry…. quickly shifted when a Pandemic hit six months after.

Shipping rates tripled. I didn’t have access to dried florals… but most importantly there was opportunity to serve our Valley to have fresh florals delivered to doorsteps in their grief, uncertainty, first Mother’s Days without being able to be around family, and micro weddings.

Botanical Verbiage was one of the only fresh floral companies open during COVID here in the Coachella Valley.

I’m so grateful for the honor and opportunities that have come from being adaptable to meet the needs of our locals, collaborations through starting my very first Leadership Coachella Valley class the same month I started my business, and the beautiful divine connections God has placed in my path.

It’s been quite a journey and adventure from resilience and getting creative… like scaling the walls of country clubs to sneak in for golf course pampas grass … and becoming the number one distributor on Etsy for them 🫠

Cheers to seven years and here we GROW even more 👏🏼🙌🏼 Thank you thank you thank you for your support 😭🫶🏼🙏🏼

Thank you to everyone who joined us for last night’s Flower Arrangement Workshop, led by @mrstrigg of @botanicalverbiage, at Coachella Valley History Museum.

Nicole shares unique pieces of local history related to the foliage she chooses for each workshop’s floral arrangement. For last night’s workshop, she received a contribution of palm fronds from @aziz.farms because September is the month dedicated to bringing global awareness to dates (the fruit), and World Dates Day is celebrated annually on September 22. The date industry has a huge economic impact on our area since the Coachella Valley produces over 90% of all date fruit grown in the United States! September marks the peak of the date harvest season, and the initiative honors the hard work of date farmers and recognizes the crucial role dates play in desert agriculture and traditions, such as breaking the fast during Ramadan.

🌴 The country’s only Date Museum is on our campus. Celebrate dates this month with a visit to CVHM to learn more. Hours can be found at CVHM.org. #LinkInBio

Help us get Walker to Washington, D.C.! 🇺🇸

This February, Walker will have the opportunity to represent Desert Christian Academy’s 8th grade class on an educational trip to Washington, D.C. He has a goal of raising $1,500 toward his trip, and he decided he wanted to put his love of art + Christmas spirit to work to help get himself there! 🎄🎁

For every donation, Walker will create a custom, hand-painted Christmas ornament just for you. 🎄 Each one will be individually painted by him… and yes, we can ship!

If you’d like to support Walker, donations can be sent through Venmo or Zelle: 541-292-9477.

Every donation gets him one step closer to D.C., and we’re so grateful to everyone willing to support him, share his fundraiser, or give him an opportunity to put his creativity to work. ❤️🤍💙

$1,500 GOAL 🙌🏼 LET’S GET WALKER TO D.C.! 🇺🇸
