💀 Día de los Muertos Floral Arrangement Workshop 💐
Friday, October 9, 2026
at @cv_history_museum

In anticipation of Día de los Muertos, participants in this month’s workshop created arrangements using marigolds, chrysanthemums, purple lilies, and eucalyptus in little clay jugs. Participants provided the creativity and local botanical artist, Nicole Trigg (@mrstrigg) of @botanicalverbiage, provided the guidance. ✨

Check out the events calendar at cvhm.org for upcoming events by tapping the link in @cv_history_museum’s bio.

Tara and I started dating in September 2000, so after more than 25 years, I’m especially honored to finally have my father-in-law’s full endorsement!

Thank you for your support and for welcoming me into your family all those years ago.

A note from Olivia after her color analysis. ✨
The pink? It was the color where she noticed the change immediately — and it ended up being her favorite.

These colors came into focus so beautifully. ✨
Through the draping process, we looked at value, chroma and temperature, watching how each shift affected her natural coloring. The warmer tones gave us an important comparison, while the lighter, softly cool colors brought the focus right back to her.
Her best soft petal pink, soft off-white and silver were especially beautiful on her — soft, fresh and harmonious without overpowering her.
And there she was — Light Summer. ✨

Olivia had been wanting to have her colors done for quite some time and had even been trying to figure them out digitally, so having an in person session was really special for her. 🎨
A few moments from her analysis as we moved through value and temperature, talked about the metals that work best for her, and then a look back at where we started, with contrast.
Each step helps narrow things down until we find the colors that work beautifully with her natural coloring.
And a big thank you to her mom, Nicole, for bringing us together for this fun collaboration!
Season reveal coming next ✨

The sun may be down, but I’m still out there putting up signs at homes and public locations throughout @cityoflaquinta. I’m doing the work myself, and I won’t be outworked.

Thank you to everyone opening their yards and supporting the campaign.

Kicking off another great season with my favorite community of @wlfcv_ . Thank you @chamberkatieslimkotuvell for sharing your energy as our keynote speaker and @kimberlykaykrause for sharing how we can get involved with Young Women Leaders. Networking and philanthropy = a successful year.
