A story of a man willing to fight for his future, his person, his love, HIS dance partner. Broken-hearted, somehow the world keeps spinning him away from her path. The journey towards HER sweetness continues...

🚨 FINAL BIRTHDAY MONTH SOCIAL DANCE APPRECIATION ALERT! 🚨

🎬 DAY 15 - DJ GPS & My Birthday Parry - September 2026

Day 15 with DJ GPS @dj_gps_ …because asking your favourite Latin DJ to create your birthday mix is the perfect social dance birthday gift. 🎶🔥

🎞️ DANCE CLIP SYNOPSIS
I gave DJ GPS my song selections, had no idea how he’d blend them, and trusted him to work his magic.

What made this one memorable: The mix, the smiles, the way the leads engaged and connected with me, and the atmosphere.

Every switch brought a new energy, and the floor went with it. Spontaneous, connected and pure birthday-parry energy.

Thank you, DJ GPS.

🎞️ OTHER NOTABLES
🦸🏾‍♂️ DJ GPS’ Superpower:
THE VIBE ARCHITECT - Knows how to read the room, build the energy and use the music to shape the atmosphere. He doesn’t just play the songs; he helps create the moments people remember.

⚡ DJ GPS’ Energy Level: LOCKED IN & CELEBRATORY

💃🏾 Dance Clip: Kizomba and Salsa

📍 Social: Idilio, Nube Nueve, South Park

🥷🏾🎥 Video Ninja: @cher_dancer, @_.bugsbunny868

Day 15 of 15.

The birthday-month 15-day dance vault is closed. 🎬❤️

Special thank you to the Idilio/Quimbara team of DJ GPS, Keegan @mrsynthesis_, DJ Badi @trini_dj_badi & Shantel @nursejoy_shantz for making my birthday parry memorable, and to Cher for being one of the best video ninjas yet.

For Day 15, thank you to all the leads who were good sports about my posts over the past 14 days, everyone who was part of the parry, the video ninjas who made video magic, everyone who reached out about the birthday video captions, and all those who continue to support my dance journey.

Special thanks to my Kizomba teachers @jefe_nickiz & @d.i.a.n.a_kiz, and to everyone who made the effort to send a happy birthday or kind word.
Thank you. I appreciate you all. ❤️

Apologies for anyone I may have missed in the comments. by @mrsynthesis_

🚨 BIRTHDAY MONTH SOCIAL DANCE APPRECIATION ALERT! 🚨

🎬 DAY 1 - “MR. SYNTHESIS”

As dancers, we know some of our best dance moments never make it to a video.

They happen, the song ends, and we’re left with a happy memory.

But sometimes, the dance universe says:
“Nah…we’re keeping this one.” 🎥✨

So, from September 1st-15th, I’m opening my dance video vault and showing some appreciation for a few memorable social dances, and the leads who helped make them memorable.

For Day 1, I’m starting with Keegan, "Mr. Synthesis" himself, @mrsynthesis_ …because the sweetness must continue!!!🔥

🎞️ DANCE CLIP SYNOPSIS

From the opening connection, this dance had that immediate:
“Okay…we’re about to have some fun.” And it delivered.

That’s what made this one memorable:
The dance never stopped feeling like a dance between two people.

No unnecessary theatrics.
No fighting for the spotlight.

Just connection, musicality, good energy…and vibes. 🎶

🎞️OTHER NOTABLES

🦸🏾‍♂️ Keegan’s Superpower:
Dance Connection Specialist - powered by an attitude of gratitude.

⚡ Keegan's Energy Level: ALWAYS ON

💃🏾 Dance Clip: Bachata

📍 Social: Idilio, Nube Nueve, South Park

🥷🏾🎥 Video Ninja: @dj_gps_

Day 1 of 15.
The Raqs birthday-month dance vault is officially open…
