Late post alert for @friends.of.kiz Friday 📢 Still buzzing from my first Kizomba "competition" EVER and we won!! Grateful for a lead who makes every step feel safe and fun... Thank you @dalemaillard 🙏 Here's to more moments like this! Story time 🥹 ... Less than a year into seriously dancing kiz and I'm so grateful for how far we've come in such a short time. This was my first competition ever (even though it was a small class competition), and taking home a win feels surreal. Doing things like this in front of an audience is waaaaay out of my comfort zone btw, so the nerves were off the chart! Huge gratitude to @dalemaillard for creating a space that's safe, grounded, comfortable and genuinely joyful. Your calm, steady and consistent lead makes room for me to trust, explore, and grow. Thanks @mrsynthesis_ and @dj_gps_ for creating this space! To everyone who's cheered us on, thank you! Excited for continued growth and progress! #FriendsofKizFridays #FriendsofKiz #GotADaleDance #Kizomba

No performance. No routine. Just two dancers connecting, having fun and letting the music lead. 🎶✨ 📍 QUIMBARA | Nube Nueve, Valpark 🇹🇹 🎧 Music: DJ Badi 📹 Video-ninja: DJ gps #Salsa #SalsaDancing #SocialDancing #SalsaSocial #Nube_Is_Home

🚨 FINAL BIRTHDAY MONTH SOCIAL DANCE APPRECIATION ALERT! 🚨 🎬 DAY 15 - DJ GPS & My Birthday Parry - September 2026 Day 15 with DJ GPS @dj_gps_ …because asking your favourite Latin DJ to create your birthday mix is the perfect social dance birthday gift. 🎶🔥 🎞️ DANCE CLIP SYNOPSIS I gave DJ GPS my song selections, had no idea how he’d blend them, and trusted him to work his magic. What made this one memorable: The mix, the smiles, the way the leads engaged and connected with me, and the atmosphere. Every switch brought a new energy, and the floor went with it. Spontaneous, connected and pure birthday-parry energy. Thank you, DJ GPS. 🎞️ OTHER NOTABLES 🦸🏾‍♂️ DJ GPS’ Superpower: THE VIBE ARCHITECT - Knows how to read the room, build the energy and use the music to shape the atmosphere. He doesn’t just play the songs; he helps create the moments people remember. ⚡ DJ GPS’ Energy Level: LOCKED IN & CELEBRATORY 💃🏾 Dance Clip: Kizomba and Salsa 📍 Social: Idilio, Nube Nueve, South Park 🥷🏾🎥 Video Ninja: @cher_dancer, @_.bugsbunny868 Day 15 of 15. The birthday-month 15-day dance vault is closed. 🎬❤️ Special thank you to the Idilio/Quimbara team of DJ GPS, Keegan @mrsynthesis_, DJ Badi @trini_dj_badi & Shantel @nursejoy_shantz for making my birthday parry memorable, and to Cher for being one of the best video ninjas yet. For Day 15, thank you to all the leads who were good sports about my posts over the past 14 days, everyone who was part of the parry, the video ninjas who made video magic, everyone who reached out about the birthday video captions, and all those who continue to support my dance journey. Special thanks to my Kizomba teachers @jefe_nickiz & @d.i.a.n.a_kiz, and to everyone who made the effort to send a happy birthday or kind word. Thank you. I appreciate you all. ❤️ Apologies for anyone I may have missed in the comments.

🚨 BIRTHDAY MONTH SOCIAL DANCE APPRECIATION ALERT! 🚨 🎬 DAY 14 - My Birthday Parry - September 2025 Day 14 takes us back to my birthday parry in September 2025…because dancing with one lead for an entire song was never part of the plan. 🎞️ DANCE CLIP SYNOPSIS This social dance never belonged to just one partnership. There was a very clear, “Yeah, it’s my turn now” energy. 🤣 What made this one memorable: The playful transitions between the leads. Every handoff meant finding a new rhythm, reading a different lead and adjusting to whatever energy had just entered the dance. Each lead stepped in, added a little of his own flavour, passed the connection along…and the birthday parry just kept moving. Those constant changes were part of the fun. Because sometimes, a memorable social dance isn’t one perfect dance with one person. Sometimes, it’s a whole group of leads turning one song and a series of spontaneous handoffs into a shared birthday memory. 🎂💃🏾🔥 🎞️ OTHER NOTABLES 🦸🏾‍♂️ Parry Superpower: THE PLAYFUL HANDOFF - Leads knowing how to step in, pick up the connection and add a little individual flavour before passing the follower along. Different leads, different styles…but the birthday parry dance keeps moving. ⚡ Parry Energy Level: UNPREDICTABLE & ALL-IN 😂🔥 💃🏾 Dance Clip: Salsa 📍 Social: Quimbara, Nube Nueve, Valpark 🥷🏾🎥 Video Ninja: @lisa_salsera, @lisa_con_sabor Day 14 of 15. The birthday-month dance vault continues… Day 14 belongs to the birthday parry…different leads, different energies, plenty of playful handoffs, and proof that sometimes the best birthday dances are the ones no one could have planned. 😂🎂💃🏾🔥
