Join me as I complete my advanced yoga teacher training @yandarayoga school 🤟💪❤️

After years in a full-time job that made me unhappy (that I now quit yey!) I felt the need to reconnect to my creativity, my purpose as a teacher, and simply to myself.

So I chose to come back to Yandara, a yoga teacher training school in Baja California, Mexico, literally on the other side of the world from my home.

I didn’t come back just to learn more about teaching yoga. I was craving that special feeling of love, personal growth and serenity, the unique Yandara “mix” that I’ve honestly never experienced anywhere else (iykyk).

Learning to teach at Yandara is such a unique experience, and the fact that so many people from around the world keep coming back here says everything about how special this programme is.

Send this reel to someone who could benefit from some love, community, nutritious food, deep rest, and coming home to themselves… so basically, to anyone? 🙏

Seriously though ❤️ This program is life-changing. I mean it.

I can’t wait to teach again. What an incredible journey this is!

Dreams come true: I’m now a 200hs Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher ⭐️

What started as an exercice to strenghten the body gradually became so much more. A way to connect. To experience. To feel. To live.

I cannot wait to share the knowledge and inspiration I received at amazing @yandarayoga training in Baja California, Mexico. I will share more about this unique and truly unforgettable experience soon 🧘🏼‍♀️

Thank you to my friends and yogis who inspired me to take my practice to the next level @malva.yoga / @julietta_berlin and many others - you are incredible !!! ✨

I can’t believe it’s already been ten days since me and Matt said our vows to each other on a sunny pier in northern Poland. It’s been one of the most beautiful moments in my life, not because of the wedding day but because it felt so deeply authentic and loving.

We decided to create a ceremony that reflected who we are: unconventional, unscripted, emotional.

It was not an easy task to have no guidance but your own to design such moment. So we reviewed the customs and traditions, reflected on what we liked or resonated with and created a ceremony that blended tradition with our unique perspectives.

At the start of the ceremony, we greated each of our guests together with a big hug;

We decided to walk „down the aisle” together, as a symbol of our path, side by side;

We asked my best friend to deliver the ceremony and trusted her to write it based on our notes and her own ideas, and it was so beautiful @sylwiakiesz ❤️

Half way through we also included a mindfulness meditation - a ritual where our community transfered their well wishes into grains of rice, wheat and buckwheat - symbol of our roots and heritage;

We asked our best friends to perform their music during the ceremony to celebrate their art, and to make it part of our love story forever @moonfruitsmusic ❤️

I was initially hesitant to propose such unconventional wedding ceremony, especially as weddings in Poland are quite traditional. I worried what my Polish family and friends may think.

But I don’t regret a single thing, because it felt true to us. Thank you to the most talented @evva.mielczarek for capturing this special moment for us with such attention to detail.

We relive it’s beauty each time we watch this piece.

My life has been shaped by female friendships. I am a stronger, more generous, softer human thanks to many of the women who have held me, shared sorrows and joys with me over the years.

I consider myself the luckiest person in the world, for this unconditional love is like a balm to my heart and a force in my life.

I have known some of you for over twenty years, I am in awe of who you are, your wisdom and inner beauty.

I couldn’t ask for a better hen-do but this genuine weekend full of love, laughter, good food, nature, movement, yoga and some great dance moves.

Three days. One unforgettable celebration. 💕🌸

We just wrapped up the most beautiful bachelorette weekend for my best friend @mrtsosz 🌸… she is such an incredible woman that it’s no surprise every single woman who gathered to celebrate her was equally amazing.✨

We did it all: yoga, cacao ceremony, sauna sessions, boat adventures, SUP, cooking together, massages, games, barbecues, dancing, deep conversations, tears, and endless laughter.

My heart feels so full reflecting on the love, friendship, sisterhood, and joy that unfolded over these past few days. 🥹

Closing the month of May with a heart overflowing with joy.

Anyone can relate?

We are back to Toronto and here is where the yoga starts.

It’s easy to be happy when things go well, sun shines and you are in a beautiful place. But reality is not perfect, and sometimes instead of a peaceful practice you get a…drill.

The only thing we can change though is our reaction to it and realization that this too shall pass.

Calm mind and a bit of humor can go a long way 🙏🙈

I took my cousin who is my age for a roadtrip to Arizona and we both remembered something really important.

This trip was different from what I am used to. We didn’t have the right gear or much of a plan. I drove all the time because my cousin doesn’t drive. We ended up sleeping on the ground couple times and once or twice outside.

My cousin is my age and we used to spend a lot of time together growing up. And this trip reminded me how fun is to be with her, and how lucky I am to have her near. We giggled so much my belly hurt. We sang Polish hits from the 90s that we somehow knew by heart. We baked sausages in the fire and made chocolate “fondue” from the melted chocolate we left unguarded in the car.

It was easy to be together again after all these years. And we both realized that’s probably because of all the trips we went to as kids - and all the memories we made then that are still so alive today.

To cowboy camping and roadtrips that make memories which last a life time!

And if you haven’t slept outside for a while, do it. It makes your soul happy 🌕✨

Often people tell me: “yoga is not for me, Im not flexible enough!”

But yoga is so much more than a physical practice. It can be so many things.

It can be a moment of quiet in a busy day, a warm hug from a friend, sharing a song, breathing deeply…

Just in love with the present moment 🙏

Thank you @yandarayoga teachers for reminding us of all the ways we can yoga, any day, no matter our age or flexibility level 🙂
