Three days. One unforgettable celebration. 💕🌸

We just wrapped up the most beautiful bachelorette weekend for my best friend @mrtsosz 🌸… she is such an incredible woman that it’s no surprise every single woman who gathered to celebrate her was equally amazing.✨

We did it all: yoga, cacao ceremony, sauna sessions, boat adventures, SUP, cooking together, massages, games, barbecues, dancing, deep conversations, tears, and endless laughter.

My heart feels so full reflecting on the love, friendship, sisterhood, and joy that unfolded over these past few days. 🥹

Closing the month of May with a heart overflowing with joy.

Meet Marta, a multimedia producer, filmmaker, yogi, and also a Geneva adoptee.

Back in a midst of the cold winter we flipped the apartment upside down for the session and created a warm early morning sunlight. It was fun to experiment with a new lighting and shooting approach, looking forward to more test shoots and creative experimentation.

Yoga teacher, but forever a student. Because every time I think I know something… the mat humbles me again…and again.

The body teaches differently depending on the day.
The breath reveals what the mind tries to rush past.

I don’t arrive in class as someone who has it all figured out. I arrive as someone still listening. Still learning. Still being shaped by the practice. Willing to be a beginner again, unlearn, ask questions, and stay curious. Always a student first.

Teaching isn’t a finish line. It’s just another way of staying close to the practice.

And the work never really ends.

Thanks to @yandarayoga for the teachings, the practices, and the community.

New 300hr level unlocked and I’m feeling inspired to get back into the studio again 🧘🏻‍♀️

Yandara 3.0 !!! ✨

This April I spent an entire lunar cycle at @yandarayoga in Baja, Mexico. I first found my way to this slice of paradise nearly two decades ago for a 200 hour training and also visited 10 years ago when I completed my first 300 hour teacher training + Ayurveda immersion. This place and the people who hold it have helped shaped my path in incredible ways and for this I am forever grateful. Yoga Trade would most likely not exist without Yandara. 🕉️

As excited as I was to return for a third visit, I was also a bit hesitant as I did not want to jade my wonderful memories from here. Also, I had already completed this training, was it silly to do it again? I was also aware that the space had evolved into hosting retreat groups, and now has a pool and more upscale accommodations + amenities and wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the new changes as I generally like to keep it roots.

I am SOOOOOO happy I got below the neck and followed my heart and experienced this magical month. Yandara is the real deal. I have been to many yoga centers around the world and I believe this is one of the most underrated, amazing, and affordable places out there. We had a wonderful and harmonious group of 12 students, a holy trinity of 3 lead teachers, and 1 playful dog. We were also graced by other great teachers, staff, volunteers, guests from other programs, and other furry friends on site. Blessed to spend time where this desert oasis meets the sea. 🌊🌵

After this month I am now feeling; re-inspired in yoga and life as a student and a teacher, a stronger faith in humanity, a deeper love for nature, grateful to have a new cohort of life long yoga teacher family, and actually really appreciative for all the new comfort upgrades at Yandara like the cozy glamping tent, new studio spaces, and refreshing pool;)

And then there are moments in time, soul deep connections, that are forever etched in your heart

This is powerful!! When people are drawn together by a shared intention. We all dove in together. Said yes to life. Said yes to expansion. The intention is to dive deeper into our yogic path.

Twenty-eight days. Twelve yoga teachers. A secluded beach in the dessert of Mexico. Strangers turned family. Studying all things yoga, diving deep into our own practice, our own personal journey, developing our visions for life, staying curious, chanting together, and supporting each other along the way. My heart is so full 🤍

Things shift when you surround yourself with the dreamers, the soul seekers, the ones who inspire you to reach further, to dream wider. Choose wisely when you decide who you will surround yourself with.

The last 28 days at @yandarayoga has been life-changing, and it’s all because of the humans who chose to be here, at the same point in time as I did. There is a reason we all met, and I can’t wait to see where each and every one of our paths unfolds from this moment on. Now ripples sent back out into this wild world.

Forever connected by this moment in time we shared together - my heart is so full of love for these humans ✨
