Ngl it has been one of the hardest months for me mentally!
Everyday I am extremely blessed for my family, my friends, and the incredible amount of Love God has surrounded me with!
It has been hard to tap into my gratitude for this Love with all the stresses of war, relationship, and capitalism; then I realized, that it was all just noise. I am choosing to turn inward and build my relationship with God and Peace. by @mryogamatt

Fasting from 7 AM – 7 PM as part of the Daniel Fast has been a true test of faith and discipline. No meat, sugar, caffeine, or processed foods—just whole, plant-based nourishment and a lot of prayer.

It’s wild how easy it is to mindlessly reach for something without thinking… then remember I’m trying to do something hard and that mindless snack isn’t allowed—and for good reason. Every “no” has been teaching me awareness, intention, and surrender.

The hunger has hit me hard today, but I must remind myself to pause, breathe, and choose presence over cravings. Drinking water, going for walks, stretching, and meditating have been my reset buttons.

Fasting isn’t just about giving up food—it’s about gaining clarity, patience, and deeper connection. 🙏🏾

Anyone else feeling a bit weird lately? 👀 I’ve been so caught up in chasing perfect that I stopped actually doing—like posting, engaging, creating. Instead, I’ve been consuming… and not the good kind. Just a lot of noise: division, violence, polarizing takes, comedy, and “inspiration” that feels out of reach.

So here’s my grace back to IG: an imperfect mirror pic. Toothpaste splatters, writing on the wall, and all. ✨

Sometimes messy is better than perfect, or maybe it’s not but I’m at my wits end with letting it stop me.
