POSTS STORIES REELS

I fell off.

I joined a 30-day visibility challenge. Personal reasons got in the way and I couldn’t keep up.

So I started again, in public. Day 1 was Monday 26 October.

67 days. Two posts a day. Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. That’s 134 posts on every platform, and none of them are optional.

One idea and one quick clip a day. Everything else is reformatting.

The plan:
Mon: Founder notes
Tue: Myth vs truth
Wed: Learning in public
Thu: For the husbands
Fri: Personal journey
Sat: What I learned this week
Sun: What I built at The Round

Today is day 5. Hold me to it.

I’m Nkem. I work across health and tech, and I’m building @_theround_, an app that helps nursing and midwifery students practise speaking out loud. I’m interested in business, branding, books and how people grow. by @ms.nkemm

5 books. 1 month. A lot of highlighter.

October was careers, offers, marketing and the way I see myself.

The one I’m carrying into November: “Make a decision and then make it work.”

What are you reading or have read?
Drop one book that changed how you think.

books I read in October · monthly reading wrap up · business books · personal branding books · self improvement books · career growth · books for young women in business · reading list 2026

To the husbands: what she actually needs from you in the first six weeks after the baby comes.

1. Ask how she is, not just the baby.
2. Protect her sleep. Take a night shift.
3. Feed the feeder. Keep water and food within reach.
4. Run the house, and be the gatekeeper. Visitors can wait.
5. Know the warning signs. Soaking a pad in an hour. A fever of 38°C or higher. A headache that won’t go away, or vision changes. Chest pain or trouble breathing. A swollen, painful, red leg. Thoughts of harming herself or the baby. Any one of these: go to the hospital.
6. Go to the postnatal check-up with her.

She just became a mother. You just became a father. Learn it together.

Send this to a husband (or a soon-to-be).

General health education, not medical advice.

It started with me blanking out loud.

A lecturer would say “Define pre-eclampsia.” I knew it. In my head, it was clear. Out loud, it came out messy.

Then I saw someone on Instagram who’d built a site that gives you random words to talk about. I slid into his DMs to ask how.

That’s when it hit me. The best person to build this is the one living the struggle.

So I built a first version with AI and tested it with friends. Now there’s a team, and we’re building it properly.

The Round is a place for nursing and midwifery students to pick a clinical topic, answer it out loud, and get clear feedback.

It opens this November. Join the waitlist and you’ll get in first. Link in bio.

I’m reading $100M Leads by @hormozi. Here’s the idea I’m using today.

There are only four ways to let people know you exist:
1. Warm outreach. Tell the people who already know you.
2. Post free content. Give value in public.
3. Cold outreach. Message strangers.
4. Paid ads. Pay to reach strangers.

What I’m doing with each:
•Warm: friends from my tech days tested the first version of The Round.
•Content: this page. Free value, every day.
•Cold: I messaged about 40 nursing students on LinkedIn. A few replied.
•Ads: not yet. I’m starting with the first three.

The bonus rule: pick one and do it 100 times a day.

Which one are you using? Save this for your next launch.

Screen time, but make it useful.

I binge-watched 5 videos on business, branding and building a life that works. Swipe for the one line I kept from each.

My favourite: “In doing life, you pass life.”

Which one are you taking with you? And what should I watch next? Tell me below.

when i earned my diploma, RN… i’m not sure i celebrated myself enough because i felt it’s “just” RN and its not complete(RM, RPHN, BNSC in view)… so i left the celebration…

looking backward, WTH was i thinkinggggg?
the stress back and forth, personal struggles, instability of the sch mgt constantly causing us the students to panic, friendships crisis and what notttt… and i still read and passed my NMCN exams!

i really am grateful to God and to my sponsors for the gift of education, i honestly don’t take it for granted❤️🙏

CELEBRATE YOURSELF ALWAYS, because NO-ONE else will do it like YOU!
