Feeling pretty lucky lately 🤍 Not because life is always perfect (it sure isn’t) but because I’ve worked hard to build a life that gives me moments like these — good people, sunshine, water, and a lot to be grateful for. That doesn’t mean I don’t miss other versions of my life or places and the person I am in them. I’m just trying to appreciate the season I’m in now 🌊☀️

Happy 250th Birthday to the US of A 🇺🇸

You can love ‘em. You can hate ‘em. You can argue about politics all day long. But when I think about the U.S., I don’t think about politics first. I think about the people (and Ranch and Raising Canes😂).

As a German now living in Spain, I got to call Louisiana my home for about all together four years—and those years will always be a huge part of who I am. Exploring Colorado, Texas, Wisconsin, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Tennessee, Illinois 😬

It gave me a host family that became just family. Friends I’ll always be grateful for. College memories. Jobs that taught me so much. Hunting trips, country concerts, backyard bonfires, porch talks, and a way of life that was so different from what I grew up with—but one I ended up loving.

No country is perfect. But sometimes the people you meet are what make a place feel like home.

So today I’m celebrating with all the people who made the US home for me ❤️🤍💙

I’m a true believer in only looking at other people’s plates to make sure they have enough — never to compare. You can’t compare your beginning to someone else’s middle. Or your reality to someone else’s Insta Highlights. And honestly? If we threw all our problems into a hat, would you risk picking someone else’s? I know I wouldn’t 🤍

Tucker was a vibe 🙌🏼 Unfortunately so much, that we didn’t take that many videos bc we were too busy jamming, singing and dancing 😂 But he sounded amazing, was so kind & put on a great show! And Carter Faiths voice?! Excuse me 👀😍 Definitely one for the books with the girls 🫶🏼
