What a weekend we’ve just lived through. 😍😱

So many people told me that your wedding day would be one of the best days of your life… and they were absolutely right. 🥹🤍

We kicked off the weekend with a Western welcome party to get everyone in the right mood. 😎🤠 We had a burger bar, a hat bar, and of course, a drinks bar. 🍔🍺🍾

What our guests had no idea about was the surprise we had planned to end the evening: a fire walk. 🔥

To share this experience with all of our loved ones was truly so special. Seven Lakes @sjusjoar created such a beautiful space for us, guiding everyone as they prepared to walk across the hot coals.

We wanted to give our family and friends the opportunity to experience something they might only ever do once in their lives. Something they’ll never forget. Something that reminds them just how much they’re capable of. ❤️‍🔥

We’re honestly lost for words about what this meant to us, @mattiasherzig 🤍

We love you all. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

What a weekend. 🤍

It was such an honour to be part of Ellie & Matthias’ wedding in Sweden.

Beautiful people, breathtaking scenery and a celebration planned with so much thought and care. Every little detail felt intentional… although I guess that’s what happens when the bride is a wedding makeup artist herself. She knows exactly what works. 🤍

The celebrations actually started the day before with the coolest cowboy-themed welcome party… and one experience I’ll never forget.

We all took part in a firewalking ceremony inspired by Nordic traditions. It was such a unique experience and a beautiful way to start the wedding weekend together.

Then came another tradition I’d never seen before.

Whenever one of the male guests made a certain sound, all the men lined up to give the bride a quick kiss on the cheek. When one of the women did it, it was the groom’s turn. 😂

Safe to say, nobody stayed in their seat for long!

I absolutely love discovering how every country celebrates love in its own unique way.

Thank you, Ellie & Matthias, for letting me be a small part of such an unforgettable weekend. 🤍
