There's a saying that goes never give a starving wolf food, all it needs is enough strength to bite you.

Watching the Supa Cent and Bee Marie fallout has me thinking about the pressure to bring everybody along.

You can help someone build, promote their business, and open doors, change their lives and still end up the bad guy in their story after a fallout. Helping somebody doesn’t put you above accountability. Everybody should own their part and tell the WHOLE story.

But shared history doesn’t entitle anybody to the fruits of your labor.

I believe in helping people, coaching people, and teaching people who want to be taught. I want my people to win. What I don’t believe in is feeling obligated to keep giving just to prove I haven’t forgotten where I came from or giving to someone who will eventually turn around to and bite me.

Discernment matters. Pay attention to how people handle your boundaries, your success, and the moments when you have nothing to offer them.

I no longer feel guilty for saying NO to people who feel entitled to my YES. 💯

If you wouldn’t say it to their face, don’t say it at all. And if you’re gonna tell the story, tell the WHOLE story. 💯

My take on the Supa Cent and Bee Marie fallout: if those messages are accurate, Supa shouldn’t have been talking about Tokyo like that. Your friend’s body shouldn’t be a punchline with other friends.

But Bee Marie, that conversation didn’t happen in a vacuum. What made her comfortable joking like that with you? If you were laughing, agreeing, or contributing, show that part too. Don’t lie by omission and throw her under the bus while leaving out your own participation.

And privacy is fragile. A conversation that feels safe today can become a screenshot tomorrow. Watch your words.Own your words before somebody else publishes them.

Parts of Supa’s business journey resonate with me finding success online and wanting the people around you to win too. But when support starts feeling like competition for your place, that raises another conversation. I’m coming back to that idea of “destiny swapping” in another video. 👀

Black women continue to die from breast cancer at disproportionately higher rates. While diagnosis rates are comparable, our mortality gap remains an urgent public health crisis. It is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we need to be scheduling mammograms and taking our screenings seriously.
At the very least: get to know your normal.
If anything feels unfamiliar or appears abnormal, do not wait. Book an immediate appointment with your primary care physician or OB-GYN and request comprehensive diagnostic imaging.

Honoring Indigenous Peoples’ Day means recognizing the deep roots and history tied to this land, including honoring the foundational labor, culture, and bloodline of Black Americans who built this country.
At the same time, I have to be honest about my struggle with the FBA movement online. Recognizing domestic lineage does not require pushing xenophobic, anti-African rhetoric. Voices with platforms know better, yet choose division over substance. As a Ghanaian American, I can respect the distinct foundation of Black Americans on this soil while refusing to tolerate disrespect toward the continent and the wider diaspora. We can honor the roots without weaponizing identity against each other.
