Hi! I’m Bernie! I love stories! In any form, really. Mostly happy ending stories, but I’ll take a good sad song, a dramatic poem, and angry break up brunch. I also love people! Tolerant people, honest people, people like me who care about lifting up the voices of those around me. I’m a huge romance reader (the smuttier the better, until we get to trigger warning levels 😂). I want to hear from and read all kinds of voices, so send me your most diverse stories! Keywords for this post, this page, my blog, and pretty much my whole life are: LGBTQAI+ allyship, empowerment of everyone (especially women and not including the patriarchy), romantasy, spirituality, mental health #Bookstagram #BookLover #Bookworm #Bibliophile #Bookish #AmReading #BookAddict #BookCommunity #BookRecommendations #BookReview #BookSeries #FantasyReads #MustReadBooks #BookishLove #books #bookdragon #read #readersgonnaread #readmore #reader #bookseries #bookseverywhere #bookreview #bookstagram #readersofinstagram #booksandbooks by @mschristiewrites

It’s been a long year for this writer! I’ve found a coach, a community, a job at the library, A GENRE, and a path to take. To double down on all of this, I’m pushing forward with the three ideas I’m most attached and running with them. As I really explore my craft, I’ll be sharing the resources, tips, and experiences that shape the next stage of my career. I’ve loved so many books this year, and I posted a lot more of them on the blog, but I couldn’t resist one more highlight of my favorites! #bookstagrammer #books #2025wrapped🎉 by @mschristiewrites

It’s been a long year of reading and writing! I dove into every genre imaginable, and doubled down on my future, gaining an editor and a job at the library! This has not been a good year for our country, but I am so proud of us for persevering. I hope there is more love than hate next year. Until then, I wish you all good books, cozy blankets, and no plans for at least a week.

My @netgalley is filled with Historical Romances and I am LOVING it. It’s a few months early but I couldn’t put down #thescoundrelandthesiren by @authorchristycarlyle !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way Coming out in March, The Scoundrel and the Siren is fierce, romantic, spicy and exciting. Tess is determined and outspoken, and Prince is obsessed with Tess and her dreams immediately, my two favorite character types 🤣 in this enemies to lovers, reverse grumpy sunshine historical romance, the true test will be deciding whether to seek out the past or the future. by @mschristiewrites

Happy pub day Rebecca Chase!!! I’m so grateful to have been chosen for the #netgalleyarc of #fakeachanceonme !! Lucas Knight is the bad boy rugby star in this British version of one my favorite romances, play along by Liz Tomforde. Gabi Draper has a secret medical condition she’s ashamed of. She’s sworn off dating and relationships because she’s scared of anyone discovering it and of men getting close before she can overcome it. A chance encounter leads to a two-month, no-strings, fake dating intimacy pact: Lucas will give her steamy lessons in the bedroom to help her conquer her medical side-effects, and she’ll help him fix his reputation. I eat stories like this up for dessert so when I tell you I destroyed this book in a DAY I am not even lying. Get it, read it, get ready to reread it over and over again.

Happy pub day @alexandravasti !!! I’m so grateful to have been chosen for the #netgalleyarc of #ladiesinhating! A delightful sapphic historical romance, Vasti hits every mark for romance, the period, and the spooky gothic elements that perfectly mirrored the writing the characters were forming. I loved this book, and I’m so excited for it to be on the shelf so I can buy it for myself!
