My ancestors emigrated from Ireland to Yorkshire in the mid nineteenth century to work in the cotton mills. I love my Irish muckers and sometimes feel just a tiny bit Irish. Oh and I also love Green. ✅ ✅ 💚🍀 Here’s some work and inspo of late. Happy St Patrick’s Day.

$@atrium.london is now open… Popped along with my sis in law @kathrynlowrie yesterday to grab a bargain The Atrium is a creative hub in East London where every visit rebuilds a life, every purchase creates change and every connection made, matters. It’s an event space, A place where to have important conversations, build community, raise women’s voices, give hope for a better future for and create lasting change. Which is what @furnishingfutures is all about. I really loved my time working with them and what Emily Wheeler @emilyfurnishingfutures and her great team have gone on to create is a lesson in growth through very positive change. Driven by high quality donations from the interiors industry that would otherwise likely go into landfill @houseofhackney @sohohouse @originalbtc and much more is in this space to buy now. Picked myself a wonderful @housedoctorcom cushion yesterday for a fraction f the original price. What is not to love ❤️ by @msjaneberry$

A big shout out to Laura and the terrific team @mustardmade. Who make not only the best lockers in town, but add to that list - shelves. I yet again missed out on a morning of chatter and creativity at Mustard HQ, this time with the very clever @brionymachin doing a take on their ‘ledge’ shelf. Anyhow my work pals stepped in and aced it. #shelfie #mustardmade #mosaic #creativityunleashed by @msjaneberry

Fading Summers, but forever friends. He’s got an ‘eye’ that Carl Braganza. Actually he’s got two. @carlbraganza by @msjaneberry

All the love in the house for our @nicolegraystylist talking to Kate, Jules and Hannah respectively of @resinn_ @half_a_hall @haines_collection and their ideas, plus their featuring in Nicole’s amazing book ‘The Reimagined Home’. None of this was and is about spending zillions on furnishings, which I have long been a fan of due to economic necessity, and tight budgets I am often given to work with. This is about restoration, reuse, and innovation. How a creative home doesn’t really meaning splashing the cash, it’s more about imagination and creativity. These lot have it in bucketload’s. Many thanks to @heals_furniture for hosting.
And if you need any help on schemes I am also now working with my architect husband @the_levelindustries where sustainability and budgetary planning are always at our core.

Mooching with my pals at the fantastic @deborah_bowness studio in St Leonard’s for Sussex Craft Weekend. My friend and fellow Yorkshire girl, Deborah’s work has been used in a fair few of my projects.
But in a ton of others from Selfridges Windows, commissions from @hornsea_pottery @Habitat @dishoom @sohohouse @lauraashleyuk locally @theoldrectoryhastings …. Exhibitions all over the country. And the list goes on and on… Deborah is currently sorting lots of her old stock, to make way for new. If you happen to be in Hastings, make an appointment and go see and look or buy from the huge variety of prints.
She’s clever and amazing and so are they.
