Film has always been my world. Not a hobby, not a phase - the thing I eat, sleep, and breathe. Horror, suspense, psychological thrillers, documentariesā€¦ the darker corners of storytelling have always felt like home to me. When I was six years old, I made my first ā€œmovie.ā€ A friend and I outlined a short film, turned a broken lawn chair into the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and I dressed him as the mad scientist who created it. I blocked every scene, wrote every beat, and directed it like the fate of the universe depended on it. That was the moment I knew: I wasnā€™t just watching films. I was born to make them. That spark grew into scripts, into characters, into entire worlds ā€” and eventually into Black: A Film, adapted from my own novel Black: A Novel. A story that lived in my head for years before I finally brought it to life on screen. Shadowgate Media is the evolution of that obsession. A home for indie films built from raw imagination, strange magic, and the kind of stories that donā€™t wait for permission.
