The path here was not linear and it was not the plan. It was a series of honest pivots, one real burnout, and a yoga class I almost did not go to. Sharing this because I know I am not the only one who found themselves by accident and not the only one searching for more authenticity, creativity, and self-love 😍

Allow me to reintroduce myself 📣🙋🏻‍♀️

I spent years in the SoCal dance community performing, choreographing, and teaching — and quietly carrying everything nobody told me was allowed to be hard. This page is where I talk about that. The burnout, the perfectionism, the chronic pain, the anxiety that hid behind being good at everything. And the slow, real work of building a life that doesn’t cost you your body or identity to live it. If that resonates — stay a while.

What’s the part of your life that feels hurried by your own mind?

something cute. just for us. 🫶🏼

I’ve known Lorie since the earliest days of @gooddanceco, when femininity and the expression of our womanhood was still budding curiosity. And within all these years of our friendship we’ve seen one another through various seasons of transition, relationships, loss, and healing in which we can both look at ourselves in the mirror and embrace who we see.

I’m incredibly blessed to have grown closer to this powerful lady and to have vulnerability & creativity exist in the space where we also share so much love for each other and for heels 👠 love her so much!

Shimmy and I have been wanting to vlog as a way to romanticize our lives and bring excitement on a daily basis, so here’s our first official vlog of IDL LA and Champ Series!

Will never take this opportunity to work with dancers at this level for granted. Full vlog is now live on YouTube and you can find it in the link in my bio 👊🏽 taken in Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall by @msshimmaayy
