LJ- 16 years ago today (July 1st), you made me a Mom—and it’s still the greatest title I’ve ever been given.

Thank you for choosing me for this journey. ❤️

Being your mom has stretched, humbled and challenged me, and filled my life with more laughter, pride, and love than I could have imagined.

We’ve shared unforgettable adventures, hard conversations, victories, setbacks, and countless memories that I’ll treasure forever. Every chapter has shaped us both.

No matter how tall you grow, where life takes you, or how independent you become, you’ll always have a home in my heart.

Happy 16th Birthday, LJ. Watching you become your own person is one of the greatest privileges of my life, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you.

Today is my (double) MastectiVERSARY… and as much as I just knew the loss of my signature cleavage and everything that came with it were the end of the Tyler I knew - I could have never imagined the Tyler that’s emerged. 💗 I definitely had intense feelings of loss, loneliness and sadness, but they were short-lived - overpowered by overwhelming support, encouragement and that deep, show-up-for-you love of my family, sisters, chosen family, friends and even strangers. 💗 Ashamedly, I was initially quite caught up in the superficial, bratty even about removing breasts I knew were cancerous - totally overlooking God’s grace to have given me the earliest detection, a deeply loving and supportive family, partner and sisterhood circle, a new “puts people first” employer, the most patient breast surgeon and a very resourceful plastic surgeon. 💗 What a difference a year makes. 💗I’m (still) beautiful, and I’m here. 💗 #f*ckcancer🎀 #survivor 💗 #grateful #mammogramssavelives🎀 by @mstylerphillips

This handsome, smart and inherently “cool kid”, my first born, the one who gave me my favorite title, Mommy, is officially a teenager! I hope you know how proud you make me and that I consider being your mother one of my greatest blessings. 13 years down and a lifetime to go, this is only the beginning and I’m sure I, as your biggest fan, can’t even imagine how bright your future is. 🚀 💫
