I love you so much, my sweet Berkley. No amount of words or pictures could ever be summed up to the incredible life you have lived and the unforgettable memories you leave me with. From when we got you as a rescue puppy at 5 months old, to all the boat rides on the river, to how excited you’d get when we’d go to papa’s house, to exploring Madison, to making sure we’d hold hands on car rides, to your last week on this earth that I will forever cherish and be so so thankful that I was able to be by your side. You always lived your life to the fullest as the most loyal, silly, unique, loving golden boy for your 10 years and 9 months on this earth. Thank you for being the best dog that I could have ever possibly imagined to grow up with. A piece of my heart will always be with you and I know you’ll always be with me wherever I go.

How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard…. 🧸🍯🩷🧀

There’s no putting into words how eternally grateful I am for the people and experiences @uwmadison has blessed me with. Friends who will forever be family, I would not be me without you. As @cindycchang said best, ‘I truly was lucky enough to run into the right people, at the right time, at the right place, and that’s what got me here.’ The past few weeks through these pictures have been a culmination of everything I could have ever hoped for in college, and more.
I feel so lucky here that I’m not leaving just yet.
