Title: Untitled / Butt Pattern, 1900s

Title: Accidental Yayoi, NYC

This permanent structure celebrates Yayoi Kusama’s obsession with polka-dots throughout her prolific career. New Yorker’s bodily secretions layered on the piece embodies the frustration and fury of those who endured the dreadful long line to see Yayoi’s NYC exhibition.

Title: Graveyard, New York

Scores of MTA employees collaborated to create this collage, gradually tearing away layers of ads to express themes of depression and misery. The
deconstructive nature of their process is most likely a statement on the current condition of late-stage American capitalism.

Title: Odd-Man-Out, New York
This piece of functional sculpture was purposefully designed with a small aperture to ensure that more trash would collect on the exterior than on the interior. The resulting effect is a powerful statement on human apathy and poor aim.
