At our last #uptownphotowalk I had my trustee Canon AE1 Program 35mm camera with me, and at one point I realized that my lens was set to manual apt and my camera was also manual, so I thought I f*cked up a bunch of photos...turns out the settings were actually perfect for the situation! I got extremely lucky this time!
Shout out to everyone that came out to this walk, which was easily one of my favorites!

Shout to @proimagephoto for always delivering the best quality development and scans!

This piece is part of the Show!!
Opening March 16 at the New York Transit Museum’s Grand Central Gallery & Store, “Inspired by MetroCard”Located in the shuttle passage at 42nd Street and Park Avenue, the Grand Central gallery is one of the most accessible museum spaces in the city, fitting for a show about an object built on accessibility. “Inspired by MetroCard” runs through October 2026, offering one last chance to see how a piece of plastic helped shape not just how New Yorkers traveled, but how they expressed themselves along the way! @mtamuseum @ilonartgallery @vanderplasnyc @nycartsempire__ @thebishopgallery @thestayupgallery

So exciting when a wall opens up and we get to unveil a new piece. The room changes, the energy shifts, and the new art gets its moment. Come check out The Big Apple and I ♥️NY. Custom made by Lila out of actual metro cards. #contemporaryart #leongoodgallery #longislandart #mta #mtamuseum
